'Daily JOKER Box Office Watch Update ' $332 Mill Domestic , $1.054 Bill Worldwide

I saw it Atlantic Station. If was an ok turnout. No cops though, probably on Friday and Saturday there will be. I honestly wanted them to tell more with the story seemed like there were some loose ends, but enjoyed it better than more than recent hero/villain movies. So happy it was rated R. I wish they would’ve showed him kill that girl he like and the doctor at the end. Joaquin did his thing :bravo:

Joker wasn’t as slow as Blade Runner 2049. Now, that movie was slow for no reason. I wanted to blow my own brains out 20 mins into that movie, regardless of how beautiful it was.
Oh Did he kill Zazie?

Did they recoup overseas because they're short in the US. Looks like a bust.

naw def not a bust ...3 days 93 Mill is a big win ...

gonna b over 200 mill by this time nex wk ...

Neptune the type of nigga to walk out of a movie theatre giving away plot points and twists loud as fuck. He probably spoiled "The Empire Strikes Back" for the people waiting to buy tickets. "Yeah man when Vader told Luke he was his father that shit had me like whoa!" Had everybody in line like o_O:curse::fuckyousay:.

I am shocked and extremely happy this did so well, this bodes well for more potential R Rated comic book movies and adult oriented sci-fi/fantasy in general. Deadpool is no longer by himself.

ROTF

I enjoyed it. Hopefully Phoenix will reconsider the 1 and done thing. They built the world of Gotham
nah, this is it. has to be. what can they do next to not make this feel like a comic book? They did a perfect job of making it seem like this is something that can really happen, perhaps in the 70s or 80s. But if you introduce batman into this universe, it wont feel right. Build a realistic universe, if they can.

Todd Phillips’s Joker Maniacally Dances Its Way to a New October Box Office Record

Todd Phillips’s gritty new iteration of the Joker might not break into banks like his comic book predecessors, but according to this weekend’s box office reports, he is definitely breaking the bank. (Note: you have to laugh at dumb jokes like that, or else we will collectively become the Joker. Sorry! Them’s the breaks.) According to Variety, despite the weeks of controversy and security concerns (or, let’s be honest, because of them), Joker has careened past the previously set box office record, pulling in approximately $93.5 million at 4,374 North American locations and turning in the best October domestic opening weekend since 2018’s Venom, which gobbled up a mere $80 million.

The movie also excelled abroad, making over $140.5 million on 22,552 screens across the rest of the globe. All and all, that’s a lot of Laffy Taffy. We can only hope that much dough can help this poor super-villain gain the self-esteem he needs to finally turn things around and get back behind the mic.
