That’s not true especially if your a good barber with clientele smh. Just like any job or hustle there’s peak times and down times. Let’s say you average 100 heads a week. What is there difference between doin 20 heads Tues -wed and the other 80 thurs - sat vs 20 heads per day tues-sat. Dead time and workload
My clientele is mostly 20-40 y.o. weekly or biweekly clients thurs-sat. Once i figured that i stopped workin Tuesday and rolled my Tuesday heads into weds because i hate the dead time and don’t mind an increased workload.
It’s not leaving money on the table if u can get it the next day smh

Nah mane. I’m old enough to remember $7 cuts and until I moved to atlanta was paying $20 (with tip), these atlanta barbers wanting &15 just for a lineup. I got a sponge Afro so I don’t even need much, but you want $20 just to clean my neck and line it? $30 for a cut? If I want some elaborate shit, parts, fade, with beard and mustache I can see it. But my shit is twist fro. Nah. If I come in with it picked out and need the whole haircut, sure but I don’t.
i remember quarter pounders being under 2 bucks but that's just how it is. we complain about people not making a living wage but when the services reflect that living wage we then complain... can't have it both ways.

I saw all that shit coming and taught myself to cut my sons hair years ago. Every time I cut his hair that's $50 dollars saved considering food and traveling costs.
