Shannon takes me on the field with his analysis. He keeps it real.
I'm getting annoyed with hot takes and false narratives.
Skip is fucked up but he is never condescending. Max tells you bullshit and acts like you don't have the intellectual capacity to follow his argument.
That because the formula of athlete and sports reporter works best it... balances out the show....
Max is neither... He's a boxing commentator turn sport personality...
Skip and Steven have actually put the work in for most sports (from newspaper to sideline)...
Max represent the new age of analytics...
Even swapping out Molly with Roslyn was better because she was a former athlete and actually added to debates....

Max is fraud. They had Anthony Ruiz on today. Max had no relevant questions for the man. You or I could have done a much better job with that interview.
Like @playahaitian said, Everytime Max talks, the show and ESPN lose credibility.
Shannon was breaking down how Elliot should be used when he returns to the field. I can take it to the bank. I loved Sharpe as a player. A real leader.

There is no defense. You can't compete in track and field without anyone else around. You're working against the clock or distance, so while he doesn't think it's a sport, he doesn't say it's not an athletic competition.
Max reminds me of Michael Eric Dyson always trying to quote rap lyrics in his arguements....It's fucking annoying to me.
