Jordan lowballed Kemba by bout 60 mill shy of the Super Max. I wish his stans on the board talked more about his current ownership over nostalgia from 30-35 years ago.
I didn’t see that you posted this...here is him “confirming” KD to BK

I wouldn't be surprised if they end up being a better team with kemba over kyrie...not that kemba is better than kyrie..it's just that kyrie was in over his head trying to be the #1... that's not who he is. He has to be the #2 guy

Isn't this the 2nd or 3rd "done deal" team he's mentioned?I didn’t see that you posted this...here is him “confirming” KD to BK
hard to be excited about this until the 2020-2021 season tho...I’m not looking forward to seeing kyrie be the #1 guy by himself next season unless we can get some nice complementary players around him
OT but I hope kawhi doesn’t go to the lakers...honestly don’t need another GS...I’d really like to see a competitive league next season

You a Nets fan?
Let me ask you... Why dont the Nets wanna try to get Kyrie to play with Russell?
Is it just about money?
Cause to me both guys can handle, pass, shoot, play on and off ball...
Whats the problem here?

Overpaying Kemba would have been a bad move though
there were early rumors the nets also had a chance @ getting a meeting w/ him...seems that’s no longer the case...maybe us locking up KD is true
AD doesn't like playing center. So, what position will LBJ play with Kawhi at SF?
I don’t know or care...I just don’t want kawhi on that team...let’s just have some damn balance in the league
Thank you. I'm tired of hearing people with that same old bullshit: "The NBA has never had balance". While mostly true, that doesn't mean that it shouldn't have balance. I'm ready for a wide open league. Makes shit more exciting not knowing the end result all the time.

Damn Major,Best move MJ ever made as an exec. No way you max out this guy.
KD has a shit team that continues to poorly advise him. His career is done. And thats fucking unfortunate.
Yea man.. They screwed us. We have been robbed of seeing what would have been the backend prime of a top 10 all time NBA player. I think he comes back as an all star level player but not 1st team NBA level player. Very unfortunate.Damn Major,
KD is done?
You really think so?

yo @SpiritualPorn
that's the most devasting injury for a basketball player. It's consistently a career-ender...not that you can't still play but practically every player (except Niq and that one year looks like a major outlier) even comes back near the same productivity. He's still going to be very good because he's KD but we're talking all-time great... possibly chasing down Kareem's scoring record, zapped right in the heart of his prime. It's a career changer.
ya even if the nets sign KD there’s gonna be a cloud over it until he can prove himself once again on the court...I wonder what the chances are of reinjury

In this era you gotta overpay. Kemba is not a bum either, he deserves the max from Jordan. Dude basically been a one man show playing alongside scrubs his whole career in Charlotte. He's been wasting his best years in Charlotte, I'd like to see him go to a playoff caliber team or his hometown NY.Overpaying Kemba would have been a bad move though
Nets would still be getting one of the best players in the league. So it's still a good look... but the Warriors really did dude dirty letting him get on the court like that. There probably won't be an issue of reinjury if he goes through a full rehab and works himself back into game shape slowly... it's just that you permanently lose some of your explosion. KD has the type of game where he's going to be the least impacted by it of most players because he's such a great shooter and losing some on the ball explosion won't kill him, but it will still change his game.
He doesnt deserve the max form anyone.. And the funny thing about him being on shit teams in Charlotte is, thats who/what he has to thank for pumping up his usage and stats. By circumstance, he was allowed/forced to carry a load which inflated his numbers and contribution. Hes a inefficient , high usage, volume scoring midget who couldnt make the postseason in the "weak east". MJ letting him walk is probably his best executive decision to date.. Its only bad because the idiot should have traded him (to cleveland) last season at deadline when teams were looking for the help. Now he walks for free.In this era you gotta overpay. Gilbert Arenas said KD's injury is not on his leaping foot so he should be fine coming back from this
The offer of a five year deal worth over a quarter billion doesn't mitigate that at all? .
