His game is far from trash; Lowry is trash, Green is trash, Capella is trash, Shumpert is trash, Lonzo is trash, etc etc etc; He just doesnt have a reliable outside jumper yet; but hes young and gets better every year; he will continue to develop and he will get his jumper solid also...

He is a world class athletic specimen with an incredible wingspan and equally incredible footstep that allows him to cover unmatched distance on the court. He is an awesome basketball player but his skill set is marginal and his actual game (repertoire ) is very limited. Like i said before the game, if you can stop his drive and spin you pretty much nullify his attack.
A mid-range pull up would do him wonders.
I think they using him well for what he can do so far.
He draws double teams and you need triple team to stop him, leaving his shooters open.

He doesnt have a go to move yet; most dudes thats been in the league 5 years dont have a go to move; but he is freakish long and athletic and he uses that to consistently get to the rim and get to the paint; he can overpower most because of that; his handles are constantly improving, so has his post up game(still needs to get better), and so is his finishing; that tells me he works on his game; he needs to develop a mid range jumper and an adequate 3 point shot; also needs to develop more post up moves; but again hes far from trash.....
Fiction. Most MVP caliber players have a defined skillset and/or move by year 5. Hes still just winging it. And i didnt say he was trash... Just his game. For comparative purposes, take Joel Embiid. He was drafted a year after Yannis, and red shirted 3 fucking seasons. Yet he has already developed a shot, superior feet work, and a defined skillset and game.

It was in Greeks that Antetokounmpo grew up and started playing basketball at the age of seven. His name, originally Adetokunbo became Antetokounmpo after a misspelling in his Greek passport.
After kicking off his basketball career in Greece, he was selected 15th overall in the first round of the 2013 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. Now 24, Adetokunbo is now a bonafide NBA star and a three-time All-Star. “Obviously, a lot of people don’t know where I’m from,” Milwaukee Bucks All-Star told The Undefeated.
“A lot of people think my mom or my dad is from Greece, but no. Both of my parents are black. Both of my parents are Nigerian.”
Even though he grew up in Greece, the basketball star said he was brought up in the Nigerian way. “I grew up in a Nigerian home,” the three-time All-Star said. “Obviously, I was born in Greece and went to school in Greece. But at the end of the day when I go home, there is no Greek culture. It’s straight-up Nigerian culture. It’s about discipline, it’s about respecting your elders, having morals,” he said.

This just isnt true... He didnt have shooting touch and range in college. Rarely if ever even went beyond the paint. You trying too hard to ignore my underlying point.. MVP caliber players show more development and progression in year 5 then Yannis has. His game and skillset remain relatively stagnant. This years improvement can be assessed more to coaching scheme and pace change than Yannis sheer jump as a talent and player. Bedonhozer is working magic. And again, im not saying he is trash.. He is an awesome specimen and player. But his actual game is very limited and trash imo.

His game isn’t “Trash”, it’s just isn’t highly skilled or refined yet.
His game is based on his size, which isn’t an issue because it got him this far. He’s taller, longer and stronger than most of his defenders so either runs past them with huge steps or he runs through them.
That’s his game, that’s it.
If he were 6’5, he probably wouldn’t be in the league. Add his skill set to someone almost 7 feet and he’s and MVP.
In comparison. Nobody gave a shit about Anthony Davis when he was 6’2. When he sprouted up to 6’10, then Kentucky called and then he was the #1 pick.
