Any move with the ball with less than 4 seconds was a move toward the basket and in progression of a shot. There was no need to leave Kawhi at all! It was an incredible shot and Ben probably wouldnt have altered it, but to argue he was where he should have been is just wrong. And its just further evidence of the guy being useless in the clutch.
No, you're seeing what you want to see. I posted the video and you post a pic. The vid clearly shows Ben getting beat and Embiid stepping in front of him. If Ben keeps running he'll run straight into Embiid. Ben got beat. Period.

In order for anybody to think the Trailblazers have a chance of beating the Warriors, WITHOUT KD, you have to believe CJ&Dame are a better backcourt than Klay&Steph and that just isn’t so. Then you add in Draymond, Iggy, Livingston, etc... The Warriors style of play is almost to perfect, with the way they move the ball around everybody has the green light if they feel they have a good shot. I remember when Quinn Cook first game on the team, he was jacking up shots like he had been there 3 years, another thing i noticed that gives them the advantage is most times whoever gets the defensive rebound will immediately take off up court with it. They don’t hold it and look for the point guard which gives the defense a chance to setup. If Draymond or Iggy get that rebound they go full speed up the court

On paper it’s going to be a good series, we’ll have to see how the teams play on the floor.
Steph/Klay and Dame/CJ cancel each other out. It matters how the rest of the teams play. Although Steph and Klay have been the better duo because they’ve won championships, Portland May have a slight advantage because CJ goes after and can get his own shot. Warriors have to play correctly and hope that Klay’s hot.
Also, Portland has players that also go after and get their own shots. They also have lots of bodies and energy players that get active in games.
On paper it looks like a good series, we’ll just have to wait and see how Portland performs on the big stage.

Klay shows up with a big game once in every 4 games. If McCollum and Lillard show up every game its gonna be at least a 6 game series. Only problem with them is that I don' see them stealing a game from the Warriors at home.

Who is dame and cj defending? When u have to spend a lot of energy on offense and defense, well that tends to where u down. Cj and dame have to do a lot more work on both ends of the floor, than steph and klay. Also Klay is a really good defensive player; neither cj or dame are good defensively. They are average at best; I expect Portland to win maybe 2 games....

What scares me about the Dubs is Steve Kerr.
KD is out. Step is struggling. Kerr empties out his bench and gets quality from reserves.
Portland does the same thing. People talk about CJ and Dame , and rightfully so. However, I keep remembering one game CJ got a rebound and didn't even land before passing to Hood. Hood took that shot with confidence and it ended up being crucial.
Everybody talks about stars but a lot of series are won with the coach and the bench.
