NBA 2018-2019 playoffs thread...finals is set..”Warriors vs Raptors 2-4” Raptors win the title!!!

"They kicked our ass!"

This vid sums up their problem. The front office thinks this team is much better than they really are. Houston is like that one homie that beats people on Madden running the same 3 plays. It's effective until he goes against somebody that really knows the game and then it's over for dude. Houston roster is full of specialists that exploit the rules of the game. When your superstar sets the table by being dependent on 4 point play opportunities you know it isn't a sustainable system. And when they don't get the calls in meaningful games they look like

Golden State will always beat you because 1-12 will adapt and do whatever it takes to win and their coaching staff makes adjustments based on situations and not numbers on a spreadsheet.

Maybe a 5% chance; the warriors owners don't seem dumb, but you never know. I'll be shocked if Klay left. I didn't think it would be smart for LBJ to leave; it made no basketball sense. But he left and we all seen how that turned out. I always wonder who is really advising these guys though......

I think some of these guys really do listen to ESPN/FS1 and the bs they come up with. Durant already told us they make shit up and claim “my sources/reports”...smh

Why not? He’s a role player. I get what you’re saying. If that’s his make up then yeah he will never leave. But these guys usually don’t think like that. There’s more money to be made elsewhere but maybe he don’t care about the money I don’t know him to say.

Klay comes across as a team/role player, Steph too, he seems like the type that likes winning more than being the man. When ESPN/FS1 started that “Klay is tired of being the 3rd option and might leave” I knew it was just something else that had made up

I hate the Rockets game, from the 3’s to the floppin

This is so disrespectful, Not his biggest game but you have to respect his game and play. Besides if I was Steph it on site whenever I see dude from one of my goons of course. I can't fuck up my cash flow
Steph fucked his woman.

This is disrespectful as hell

I'm not a fan of Melo or his game. Never have been.

I bet Garden wants him gone
I disagree , I'm a Melo guy,he gets
a lot more blame than he deserves. I dont know why Atlanta did not keep him I wanted and still would like to see him in Philly. I don't expect Melo to play at an all star level. But his knowledge and Veteran leadership would help a young team. I did not think we would get that type of Leadership from Jimmy Butler and I will admit I was wrong. He still has value to be in a tight 8 man rotation if I asked would you rather have Melo or James Ennis for 12-15 mins a game
Hell you find 18-20 if you sub Melo for Tobias Harris, J.J. Reddick. When Brown subs out Embiid and Redick at the 6:00 min mark.
Insert Melo and Mike Scott and keep rolling
Simmons
Butler
Melo
Harris
Scott
When you bring Embiid back
And sub out Harris and Butler & Scott
Simmons
Reddick
Ennis
Melo
Embiid

Next rotation
Butler
Reddick
Harris
Scott
Monroe/Boban/Johnson

Stephen A is one of the biggest, lying ass “my sources said” reporters on ESPN. He’s always putting out stories that turn out not to be true

I dont think brett brown should be though..

All that sh*t embid puts him through? And Simmons not shooting?

He doing as good a job as could be expected

Better

It’s the coaches job to make sure the team is in the best position to win. Ben not shooting is a problem, it’s the coaches job to make sure their players are ready to play and limit weaknesses.

The coaches should’ve been worked with Ben’s bitchass to get him shooting.

Ben is 22 the jumper will come that’s not Brett’s problem the problem is he allows that team to do what they want there is no discipline. I love Embiid the twitter troll the guy laughing in press conferences snd his play but it’s the coaches job to set him straight and let him know his poor diet is hurting the squad. Brett runs an undisciplined camp the Sixers need a disciplinarian.

With all that said we got game 7 tonight we will deal with that in due time

I bet you were saying the same about Michael Carter Williams.

It's what happens
Brown got that job cause the sixers job was horrible not cause he was a good coach

Now they got talent he did his job now they need a winner coach

If he was a winner coach he wouldn't have taken that job when he took it

I'm not rooting for him to get fired that's just how shit goes.
If Brett brown was black he wouldve been got fired soon as they realized Simmons and embid are building blocks
Losing to an undermanned Boston team last year would have been rightful justification

Rockets development coach Irv Roland on Saturday disputed a report that Rockets guard Chris Paul booted Warriors guard Stephen Curry off Houston’s court Thursday night, a day before the Rockets faced the Warriors in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals. Roland said there were no issues and that Curry joked with Paul as Paul prepared to begin his usual workouts, adding that the entire exchange occurred a week earlier.

The Athletic reported that Paul arrived at the arena Thursday only after he heard Curry was using the court there for shooting drills and “kicked Curry off the Toyota Center court.”

After Game 6, Curry approached teammate Draymond Green in a hallway on his way to the locker room saying, “Kick me off the court again, boy, let’s go,” and Green responded, “Kick him off! Kick him off!” The exchange surfaced in a video posted on Twitter.

Roland, however, said Curry and Paul actually crossed paths May 5, the night before Game 4, and that there were no issues with Curry’s time on the main floor, with Paul doing his usual lifting while Curry had the court before he and Rockets rookie Michael Frazier headed to the court for a workout.

“I’ve been here three years and we go to shoot the night before games quite often,” Roland said. “Never in my three years has a player been on our main floor shooting the night before a game. When we saw him out there, I contacted our equipment manager (Tony Nila) because they’re the ones that coordinate shooting times. He told me, ‘We gave him the court at 6:45.’ We asked him how long they had the court for.

“When we finally went out there, Stephen cracked a joke with Chris. Chris said, ‘Let him shoot.’ It wasn’t like it was a confrontation. ‘Let him shoot. Let him finish what he’s doing.’ We didn’t kick him off the court. We didn’t even say anything. I wanted to know how long he was shooting because I had Chris with Michael Frazier and James Harden coming right after Chris. I wanted to know how long he was going to be before James left the house.”

The exchange seemed amiable, Roland said, with Curry joking about Paul shooting without a shirt and Paul saying he has to show off his weight room work while he can.

Roland said Paul never brought up how long Curry would shoot and that they had no issue with the timing, especially because the drills were so limited.

“Nobody said anything to them,” Roland said. “It wasn’t like we were doing full-court drills or a whole team practice. Also, we wouldn’t do that just because there are nights we might need to go to Oracle and shoot. That’s why it’s coordinated in the first place.”

The Warriors declined to comment on the report when reached by The San Francisco Chronicle.

Look at this organization

Worried about the wrong thing

Can't wait for this year's audit

I disagree. At this point in his career Melo brings nothing to a team like the Sixers. His lack of D would hurt the Sixers. Ennis may not be a lock down defender but unlike Melo he hustles on D. One of the biggest issues with last years team was the poor defense by Bellinelli and Illyasova(sp?). Ennis doesn't score, but the Sixers get what they need from JoJo, Butler, JJ and Harris. The biggest issue with the Sixers is Ben's motivation or lack thereof and Embiids health. If Ben plays like he did in game 6 then this team goes to the Finals.

How is it more money for him to make elsewhere? Please explain. And klay is a star player that will be in the hall when he's done.

This just puts gasoline on it. Makes them look like complete trash. Didn't they also formally protest a loss to the Clippers this year?

These niggas make me sick. My hatedometer was so high after Durant got hurt. These niggas let down a legion of haters. Warriors then win the next two games and Curry has an epic game 6 to close them niggas out on the road. I can't put my hater chips on the table for the Nuggets or Blazers.

How is it more money for him to make elsewhere? Please explain. And klay is a star player that will be in the hall when he's done.

If GS plan to keep KD, then I’m not sure how GS will be able to afford to keep Klay if other teams are willing to throw everything at him to get him. Klay is a hot commodity on the market. He’s a two way player. KD is looking for a huge payout this summer.

His situation is best served at GS. But if he’s looking for that “per year” money then I’m sure teams will pay for him.

Klay can easily make over 100 million.

If a player doesn’t pass, attempt to get rebounds or plays any defense, it’s the coaches fault. Also it’s the coaches problem.

You’re saying it yourself calling the team “Undisciplined”. Ben not shooting jumpers allows defenders to sag off shrinking the court for the other offensive players.
