I really wanted the Rockets to win the series but the Warriors proved their championship mettle. When they needed it most Klay, Steph, Draymond, and Igoudala, stepped up. Also their bench played well. I don't know why Manimal did not get ticks
. He would have brought energy and got a dunk or two that would have fired up the team. The Rockets window is closing and if Harden is given the MVP still then I don't know what to say.
The Rockets lost game 4 for themselves and game 5....they had momentum and leads early in the 4th and both games.... Went on a scoring drought, let GS get back in it, GS take a lead and then they had to fight to try to come back....
GS is used to being "here.".... They rarely ever let teams come back into a game once they get a lead in the 4th....

You can't go on a 4 - 5 minute scoring drought against GS especially in the 4th quarter!!
Draymond had 4 fouls coming into the 4th as soon as he was back in the game... Attack towards him and try to force a 5th foul.... Steph had 4 fouls....
There was no KD... And you still couldn't beat that team..... After all these seasons James and CP still haven't had one game where they both score 30+...which is good on one hand, not needing to carry so much of the point share to win games.... However on the the other hand, they both couldn't put the nail in the coffin and finish / win 2 crucial games.

Every team has one they just don’t get 40 minutes a night lol. I like Tucker but he’s s try hard player. He’s too high on the pecking order for a real contender. He should be coming off your bench.
KD allows for the game to be easy for them. Without him theirs less room for error but they still the best team in the league. Without him means more touches for Klay and Iggy. People forget Iggy can start in this league for most teams.
I don’t know about that. I’d put money on Warriors but Blazers and Nuggets are capable of stealing some games. I like that Nuggets team better than the Rockets.

No other superstar could go scoreless for a half and still win their teams playoff game. No other star could go missing for 5 games in a series, play well in one and their fans starting beating their chest about nobody being on their level.
One day "Durant is the best in the world", next day he's not needed and Steph is really the GOAT. And this was deemed "the best series/real NBA Finals" of the playoffs.
