)... With that, I'm really appreciating how tenacious Houston's defense has been. They should definitely be the favorite with the way their role players have performed at home. I think the Warriors will win in six but only a fool would rule out Houston winning by 20, so anointing them the Game 7 favorite is very premature.I think they will do it but "shouldn't be hard" is crazy.
This game should not be seen as a referendum on their ability to win without KD, though. If they lose, the people who have been wrong about them since 2015 are going to cite this as proof that they were always weak. This is not the 73 win team. Draymond and AI are older, lesser players now. Shaun Livingston much more so. There's no Harrison Barnes. It can't be ignored that KD was replacing somebody-- It was never the 73 win team + KD. No DeMarcus, not even a Javale McGee caliber frontcourt replacement player.
The Warriors are the underdogs here and if they beat this very good & completely healthy Houston team that was designed to beat them, it will be a FUCKING FEAT.
