NBA 2018-2019 playoffs thread...finals is set..”Warriors vs Raptors 2-4” Raptors win the title!!!

If the Harden's Rockets can't beat the Warriors without KD being out they will never make it to the finals.

Warriors still deadly without KD. They will move the ball more and klay will get more shots. Team is still capable of making to the finals without KD.

They're like 26-4 without him so that's why I'm pissed the Rockets didn't win last night.

Look at it from the Warriors point of view, they were like "Oh Shit!" and stepped up their defense and Steph actually scored couple 3's

Are yall watching the post game interview? Seriously, ive NEVER seen Steph look and sound so shook and in my life. He looks terrified. He sincerely looks like someone died.

@Spectrum
When she told him it was a strain he cracked a smile and a show of relief covered his face man.

I think Steph is ready for this.

I'm a Curry fan, not a Warriors fan, so this is the most exciting the playoffs could possibly be from my view. That is his team and he, Klay, Draymond & AI have a chance to really shut some people the fuck up. (It's gonna be hard considering that is damn near literally all they have but I think they can do it.)

If they don’t trap steph every time he touches the ball, dantoni should be fired

It shouldn't be hard since they won game 5. If they lose tomorrow, they still have game 7 in Oracle which the Warriors will be favorites.

That's the crazy part-- The Warriors were generally more dominant pre-KD. He gives them something they didn't have before and it's obvious why they choose to rely on him at times but it seems like overall he takes away from what made them great in the first place.

According to Mike Golic Jr, Durant was on the court for exactly two thirds of the game and off the court for one third. When he was off the court, the Warriors averaged about ten fewer isolation possessions per 100 possessions and about 40 more passes per 100 possessions.

People acting like the Warriors can’t win without KD lol. They never needed him in the first place. This just puts them on level ground for a few games. I’m with that. Shit I’d really be with that if my team advances tonight.

I missed a lot of last year's series but I've seen almost all of this one (missed the first half last night-- thanks, Hulu :hmm:)... With that, I'm really appreciating how tenacious Houston's defense has been. They should definitely be the favorite with the way their role players have performed at home. I think the Warriors will win in six but only a fool would rule out Houston winning by 20, so anointing them the Game 7 favorite is very premature.

I think they will do it but "shouldn't be hard" is crazy.

This game should not be seen as a referendum on their ability to win without KD, though. If they lose, the people who have been wrong about them since 2015 are going to cite this as proof that they were always weak. This is not the 73 win team. Draymond and AI are older, lesser players now. Shaun Livingston much more so. There's no Harrison Barnes. It can't be ignored that KD was replacing somebody-- It was never the 73 win team + KD. No DeMarcus, not even a Javale McGee caliber frontcourt replacement player.

The Warriors are the underdogs here and if they beat this very good & completely healthy Houston team that was designed to beat them, it will be a FUCKING FEAT.
