Mueller will testify Trump committed Obstruction.[UPDATE-5/10 Committe Testimony]

Someone like Harris needs to word that in a very precise, legal fashion because Barr could have shut it down without explicitly shutting it down in a direct sense. When I read that he forced Mueller (don't know if it's true) to break his cooperation agreement with Flynn, I took that as Barr effectively shutting it down. Mueller couldn't make any future cases against anyone at the top of the food chain without using Flynn and Gates as leverage.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is why Nadler wanted lawyers for Democrats in the US Congress to
interrogate Barr, and that is why Barr refused. Matt Whitaker was put in there to end the
Mueller investigation; he saw the evidence and refused to go near the issue, enraging
Trump in the process. They put Barr in there, and apparently he went and did Trump's
bidding. This shit is about to get ugly.

I'm not worried about Mueller. All indications are he wants clarity. He may be limited to what he can say in open session but I'm not worried about him dodging a question for nefarious reasons.

We need to know if Barr cut investigations short, if he agrees with the guidance that a sitting president can't be indicted, if he would have issued indictments if not for that guidance, and if his intent was for congress to follow up on his findings. Also if DOJ is considering not pursuing any of the cases that sprouted from this, such as Roger Stone, or if they are substituting any of the prosecutors that normally would have handled it in an effort to help the defendant.

All extremely important questions. But according to Senator Graham it's all over and we don't need the answers to those types of questions.

Fuck this shit. He's floating it out there. Pelosi just mentioned in an interview the idea that he'll contest the election/not leave

Sarah Kendzior has BEEN saying this and she's been batting 1.000 on Trump predictions :smh:

That's the only thing that's protecting him from all the legal work that's waiting for him as soon as he leave office. Make no mistake about it Trump has no intention of leaving office even if he loses a relatively "fair" election.

The only thing protecting Trump is a successor willing to give him a full pardon. Stepping down is his salvation.

I'm assuming for Trump to be able to be extended it would literally take a constitutional re-write! Literally all parties would have to unanimously vote in favor of doing something like that for a Presidential term? Does that sound about right?

This is good. If he continues, even his die hard MAGA supporters will turn against him.
This is sacrilegious, and this is going to get worse and not better, since the man has a
serious flaw.

For Trump to even suggest this he knows he wore out his welcome right now

I've had this theory for a minute. He ain't leaving easily if he loses
The thing about everything he does, is that Republikkklans pretend it’s ridiculous at first then gradually come around and normalize his lunacy , finally Moving to fully support him by any means. So anything people assume is crazy even if it is will become normalized and have Republikkklan support. So don’t put it past them trying to make presidential terms longer if they think it will benefit their party.

Basically what they claimed Obama was going to try to do.

What democratic successor what do that? Talk about political suicide soon after getting into office.

The next president of the United States will be Mike Pence. There's two ways this will happen.

1) Trump loses the 2020 election. He resigns the month before he leaves office so that Mike Pence can pardon him

2) The party realizes that Trump is completely unelectable and put their support behind Mike Pence for 2020

Trump won't ever resign... Pence couldn't pardon him his NY fuckery. His only hope is to remain in office... It's the only thing keeping him from being indicted

It's OBAMA'S ECONOMY faggot!

Mike Pence is wholly unelectable on a national scale.

right now the two biggest frontrunners for the Democratic primaries are Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. Why is that?

Joe Biden is a creepy, corrupt, out of touch establishment Democrat. The only reason people like him is because he comes off as a bully who can defeat the bully in power.

Bernie Sanders is basically an independent with a lot of socially progressive views. He's far from the only one though so why do people like him? Because people feel that he would have beat Trump in 2016.

So what happens if one of these two men take the nomination and the Republicans do an about-face and run Mike Pence, a man who is pretty much Donald Trump's polar opposite? at that point the Democrats would have essentially brought a hockey stick to a basketball game.

Pelosi in that bullshit :smh:

An investigative reporter just told me a few things about Nancy Pelosi's real estate dealings that make Donald Trump look like a saint by comparison. It will be all over the news within the next year or two
