I have a pretty decent barber. He's cool but his shop also cater to other folks too, and when I say this nigga will shuffle and dance for those folks, I mean it.
But yeah, sometimes I won't tip because he has a habit of giving them stellar service and give the brothers less than.
And dude is cool, but he does this shit CONSISTENTLY.

Way too much. Been doing my own shit every 5 days of late. That would be damn near $200/month. foh. Plus they got all these youtube videos. Shit is easier than ever to learn. 30 years ago when I first started, it was just really teach yourself.
My son has choice of barber or me and prefers my cuts. I give him a choice because the last thing you want is your son like

Mine is 15 for cut, 15 for beard, 10 for just a line up. It use to 5 for beard, but since everyone has beards now they jump the price to 15.

With youtube and if a person has the ability to learn and try new things, you can pick up alot of information off of YT!! I was like you 30yrs ago, that was all just trying and hoping you go with the grain or right angle.. Trust me, I was walking around with a baldie because I went up with the clippers and shouldve went down with them.. But the good part was, I was able to cut my sons hair and we would talk about all types of stuff while cutting their hair.. When they got in high school they started going to the barber. Now my oldest is pretty damn good with the clippers and he cuts his son hair and my youngest son cuts his own hair now also..

The Owner of the barbershop is so successful at it right now that he hasn't cut hair in about a year. Bought himself a new S Class Benz to go with his relatively new Tahoe. He got his certification, then got his certification to teach others in LA and now does the micropigmentation to customers as well as teach others how to do it.

I understand what your saying, bruh.. However, Ive only paid 2 people in my life to do something for me. One was to install carpet in my house and another was to install a engine in a maxima.. Other than that, I do my own repairs in my house, I work on my own car, I used to build computers now I just buy laptops and I cut my own hair.. My point is, why should I pay anyone, when I can do it myself??

Diff is bartender makes no money off of drink when the barber makes all the money off the cut... A tip for the bartender means she makes some form of money off serving the drink a tip for the barber juss means extra money for barber.. No tip for the bartender means zero income for them no tip for barber juss means no extra bread will be made for his service
