House Umber was one of the Stark’s most loyal Bannermen. GreatJohn Umber was the little kid’s grandfather. GreatJohn fought against the Lannisters in season 1-3 with Robb Stark. He was the guy who got his fingers bitten off by Robb Stark’s Direwolf (Grey Wind) back in season 1 or 2.
GreatJohn’s son / heir was SmallJohn Umber. SmallJohn was the guy who gave Rickon & Osha to Ramsay Bolton, and fought with him in the Battle of the Bastards. He was killed by Tormund Giantsbane, when he bit a chunk out of his neck & stabbed him in the face with a sharp bone, as Littlefinger & The Knights of the Vale rode in on horseback to save the day.
The little kid was Ned Umber (SmallJohn’s son). He became Heir/Lord of House Umber after the Battle of the Bastards. Jon Snow sent him back to his homeland / castle (called The Last Hearth) to bring all his people to Winterfell. He asked for more horses & wagons at the beginning of the episode.
The Night King & Army of the Dead caught up to Ned Umber at his castle before they all could get back to Winterfell. The White Walkers slaughtered House Umber & left Ned Umber hanging on the wall, most likely as a ‘war trophy’.
I suspect House Glover will probably be the very next victims to get wiped out by the White Walkers in season 8 episode 2, since Lord Robett Glover decided to go back to Deepwood Motte, in protest of Jon Snow ‘bending the knee’ to Danaerys.

I was thinking more of a wheel.
The targaryyen sigil is a 3 headed dragon but this symbol reminds me of a wheel and makes me think of danys statement that she will break the wheel.
