I totally get where you are coming from. However, let's be real. The history of how we are presented has always been a problem and it creates issues with self esteem and how people value themselves. I think some on BGOL are just pointing out the injustice in the "injustice" and why that may be so.
I mean just because something is what it is doesn't mean it can't be called out. It's about how things are presented today and down the line and why it affects our communities. It's not about wanting to have the same immoral ground they have, but fighting to make it be for across the board.
You can't deny there spectacle being done here for people's entertainment. The funny thing is it was brought up that Kelly has a more entertaining story than someone like Weinstein which is true and why there isn't any programming done for him in the same manner. It is the same thing with Elvis. You believe the majority of people are going to willingly accept him getting tarnished when he can't speak to defend himself? Of course not which is why you won't see anything on him. Just because one thing could be wrong doesn't mean there can't be another wrong being done at the same. It's good that people are calling this out.
Here is something to add. Those credible famous actresses probably don't want to be shamed even though it is true. People forget these are human beings being put on display here. Not all things have to be made a spectacle, but people love to be entertained by people's downfall or people's misgivings.

Certain people's negatives are not brought up because it really does no good or really is pointless when the good they have probably is better off used to help people and I totally get that. Just learn from their mistakes and move on. What good is it really going to do?
