It was his dumbass fault for doing the interview. Plus, all this shit is really for entertainment. For most people Harvey Weinstein is not big news, he's boring. R. Kelly is far more of an intriguing story. I guarantee, if someone like say, a Tom Cruise got caught with little girls, of course the news is going to run the story all day everyday. Tom Cruise is one of the biggest actors in the world, just like R. Kelly is one of the most famous singers in the world. Most people don't even know who the fuck Harvey Weinstein is. News is a business, they going with the hottest story.

I agree, somewhat. But how do you explain the lack of coverage on Kevin Spacey? Or justify a Michael Jackson doc, while ignoring Elvis marrying a 14 y/o girl?

My view is that it's a combination of both...racism and views. They want the ratings and if the Subject is black, it's an added bonus.

When you're fighting for you life, you're not obligated to do a nationally televised interview. As a matter of fact, you're lawyer should be doing MOST if not ALL of the talking except where necessary.
