Joy Ann Reid smears black voters, labels #ADOS & #AMERICANDOS hashtags as bots

Just keep in mind that fags almost took Joy Reid out with those old blog posts
They did that to Joy to just let her know that they have something. She thinks she's safe since she still has the job, but they already let everyone know....once she gets out of line...this is the reason she was let go.

Watch if Trump wins again or a Dem that they didn't want gets in, her time is up

If a Dem they do want gets in..they will control her to the point where they don't need her anymore.

They break their toys.

I agree somewhat

But hate the approach it dismisses too much of my brethren from places that also endured euro inhumane fuckery..

Too divisive....

It's like we are going to war with family and not the enemy..
im telling u , ive seen BOT-like tendencies online alot on YT & blogs thats made me believe alot of agents pushing this movement ..

this Yvette woman who basically made an hour & half video trying to shit on & discredit Claude Anderson

Why don't you like the name? What name would you prefer?

This is true for a lot of feminists in general.
I don’t like the name because it has slaves in it. That’s based in a truth, but it also isn’t very forward thinking. It can definitely be misinterpreted by those in it to become a caste. Some people get hindered by Thinking of themselves as permeanent slaves. I don’t have a better word for it right now, I just don’t care for that one.

This is all done by the democratic party for the expressed purpose to stop the underground black media from pulling back the curtain on their black presidential hopefuls. They expected to ramrod these black candidates down the black communities throat without any questions being asked and it's not happening as planned. Black people are asking for tangibles and asking for receipts on these black candidates this time around.

What's telling is how the democrats are using black people to belittle terms like (ados and dos) because they understand the ramifications of excepting those terms. Especially during an election cycle. It would mean validating the idea that black Americans have a unique circumstance and more so than other groups should be demanding tangibles from politicians.

Except maybe 1 in 10 black people have even heard of these terms. Twitter does not equal everyone

But YouTube pages need viewers so these folks are continuing to fan the flames without expressing any nuisance to this discussion.

The next point is “so, now what?” What is the end goal with this?

If America had fallen like MLK and others had sometimes predicted , we wouldn’t even be having this diccussion. Turns out in our lifetime America is doing good. The Black people in it who were fighting for justice and equality , and even recognized to be owed something, have been joined by a ton of others who would call them YANKEEand AKATA, which is ok, until some actual benefits come to the table. Then they wanna blend on in lol.

Ok. I just watched Joy's short segment where she had a panel discussing a very good and important topic about being careful about the bots posing as humans and I was right.

The OP was purposely misleading with that bullshit title!

OP said that Joy Reid smeared them and she didn't... the lady on her panel brought up that group!

Joy didn't agree or even speak on the woman's comment.

Joy keeps these shady politicians in their place on her show but the OP wants us to stop watching Joy's show because as usual, he starts these threads to get members to talk bad about black people and our own interests.

Trust me when I tell you... the OP is working for the other side!

Gtfoh!
my sentiment exactly ! & thats how i know that Yvette & Tonetalks r full of shit ! their claim to be "critical thinkers" is a ploy

This isn't about the amount of people that heard these terms. It's how problematic these terms can be and how problematic underground black media has become with these black presidential hopefuls that the democrats have pranced out in front of us. As I've stated if those terms begin to pick up real traction during this election cycle it will force those black candidates to have to address the black voters in real ways. Not in just dancing in their seats and I'm a person of color and I like a tribe called quest kind of way. Policies and promises. Commitments. Things the democrats aren't willing to have a candidate do.

The main targets now for the political parties are younger voters. Not the boomers. The social media savy connected people. They are the ones who will at some point come across these terms.

Why don't you like the name? What name would you prefer?

This is true for a lot of feminists in general.
Could try a name like “builder” or “founder” or something more of a distinction like that. Lots of people were salves around the world. Native Americans chose that name instead of “the defeated”, get me?

This “movement” here kinda reminds me of the Dawes act for Native American nations.

I’m not exactly sure what this distinction will be protecting or gaining. I’ve noticed Yvette and people in that lane talk a lot about reparations, so I guess it’s for that.

Affirmative action is getting utilized a lot by Nigerians me Caribbean students I hear. I don’t really have an issue with that , but I guess if someone’s wanted to pick a bone with programs like that, maybe that’s something.

Otherwise, it’s just some political charge , because clearly all the new politicians making headway are not... DOS or whatever. Sounds funny cuz what I hear from Black Americans mostly is shame of being American. Then when someone steps up and benefits from American shit, here we go crying about what’s ours. At least Yvette is rocking her flag and saying “gimme mine”.

Low IQ huh?

Non black progress huh?

What do you think you did by putting this

intelligent black women down with all

your hate for the way she looks?

Either you're the one with the low IQ

or you're a traitor who hates intelligent

black women.

People like you are the problem with

black on black hate in our culture.

So, either you're a CAC, or a coon trying to

stir up hate.

Either way, we don't need your hateful

rhetoric on this board, or in this country

for that matter.

Foh.
You have a simple mind

Not gonna comment on the AKATA shit but YANKEE is not meant to be an offensive term (your linking them together is suspicious)....simply descriptive...as are the DOS and ADOS terms...in regards to the DOS and ADOS terms there is nothing wrong with recognizing an essential truth (although I agree with your stance on slave being in the name)...Black Americans are a separate ethnic group under the BLACK umbrella....said this before regarding this topic, time will tell the true intentions of the people behind these terms...it can be for Black progress and it can end up dangerously divisive...you can be a proud ADOS and a proud Pan Africanist...you can be a proud Igbo and a proud Nigerian...if it ends up being divisive, its because those promoting it want it that way

I wasn’t really talking about them being offensive. They’re distinctions. That’s all. So is DOS.

I’m 100% with you. That’s why I don’t like how Yvette uses it all the time. She can confuse people and half the time she’s confused herself.

She will start talking about Nigerian culture and you can tell she hasn’t put forth the amount of time or respect that she complains we aren’t given. It’s definitely bullshit flying from many sides.

Cool...on that I agree...there is some debate on what Akata means and one version is that its derogatory in nature...just didn't like seeing akata and yankee lumped together since yankee doesn't have that derogatory controversy tied to it

Like it hasn’t been proven Russia swayed 2016 election...
Some democrat apologists wish to concentrate on  Russia. How many times big homie visit Wisconsin? Also, Hillary has been hated by WHITE PEOPLE since the fucking 90s. Only demographic in this country that consider the Clintons sacred is the black vote -- except 2008.

This Russia shit has now turned into a blanket that SOME democrats wish to throw over a pile of incompetence that exists with the party. Hillary ran a shit campaign and was second in history only to Trump in being disliked AND black people have every fucking right to call out democrats.

Sadly, we will see democrat shills countering with this  Russia or bot shit leading up to 2020. And they will have the backing of cacs who only have ever given a fuck about party power, not the betterment of the black community.

Some have OBJECTIVELY addressed Russian interference.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-it-made-a-difference/?utm_term=.ef7f1d131d08

But there are reasons to be skeptical of the claim that Russia swung the election for Trump. First, Russian information warriors produced far less fake news and polarizing rhetoric than did domestic and other international sources. Russia simply added to the already deafening cacophony of inflammatory rhetoric and misinformation.

Second, the hacked emails had little obvious impact. The first batch of Democratic National Committee emails was released in July 2016, amid the two party conventions — after which Clinton’s lead increased. Similarly, after WikiLeaks released John Podesta’s emails in October, Clinton’s support increased, apparently in response to such other campaign events as the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape. Trust in Clinton remained more or less the same throughout October — not what we’d expect to see if the emails had made a difference.

Of course, Russia may still have influenced the outcome. As FiveThirtyEight’s Harry Enten notes, “the drip, drip, drip” of these email releases “makes it all but impossible to measure their effect precisely.” And Trump won by such a thin margin that even a small Russian impact could have tipped the election.

But there is far stronger evidence that other factors were more critical. For instance, public opinion shifted suddenly after Oct. 28, when FBI Director James B. Comey announced that he was reopening an investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state. And the closeness of the election mostly resulted from polarization between Democrats and Republicans that long predates Russian President Vladimir Putin or the rise of Trump.

It’s true that Russia has been increasingly trying to meddle in Western elections. But it hasn’t gotten much for its efforts — and these efforts have often backfired. For instance, the U.S. uproar about Russian interference has almost certainly made it less likely that the United States will lift its sanctions. Thus, on balance, Putin’s expansion of Russian interference may not be in Russia’s interests.

Both of em can be derogatory depending on who’s saying it and when. When a Jamaican says “Likkle yankeee bwoi!” I don’t assume he’s calling me his homey lol. Yankee even in the white world USED to be deragatory (check the lyrics to ya see doodle) but they flipped it when they beat the brits.

And many Africans by now don’t even know akata is supposed to be. Americans haven’t even heard it much.

Any term can be derogatory when said in a derogatory tone or in a derogatory phrase....you can call somebody "rich" and say it in a way that makes the person sound like a piece of shit...no matter what else I might think of you as a poster, I know you are not a fool and I know that you are fully aware of what I am saying....yankee and akata do not share the same history as it relates to Black American and foreign Black interpersonal relationships

Lol why is this becoming a discussion?

They can both be used as offensive words , or not. The only difference when used offensively are MAYBE degrees , but who cares? You’re making it a big deal that i used both words in the same sentence for what? Because Jamaicans don’t mean to offended AS MUCH as Africans? I don’t get it. What’s your point?

Bottom line is BOTH words , even not used offensively are meant to distinguish an American from whatever they are. Black Americans can be pan African and make the distinction about our lineage just like anyone Else. Even though a guy from the Caribbean may have coined the phrase , we did more development of actual pan africanism here than anywhere else. That can’t be questioned. We been reaching out since day one

I am extremely happy that the new black media is making waves.

They are changing narratives.

I am also very happy with the DOS rhetoric. Like some have stated, I am uncomfortable with the term "slave", but it's meant to sting for a reason.

And stop saying that this is divisive. Some of you east coast cats are embedded with lots of folks from the Caribbean and the continent...so you feel a sense of allegiance.

Where the majority of black people are, in the SOUTH, it's not like that. It's still black or white (with some brown mixed in).

Shit, my sister married a Nigerian and I married someone whose parents are from the Caribbean.

It's not about being decisive. My sister's husband immigrated to the USA.

My wife's parents immigrated to Canada from the Caribbean.

That was THEIR CHOICE.

With all the terrorism that our people (ADOS) have endured from USA pinks over the centuries....today while still being on the bottom, why shouldn't we ask for exclusivity on this land? This land that blacks across the world are immigrating to in droves like shit is A OK....

Fam, i believe i speak for an overwhelming majority of black immigrants when i say that we would be the first to support you in getting, as you call it, some exclusivity on this land.

Thats exactly why this has become divisive though.

Instead of treating us as allies, those media peeps driving the narrative decided to start shitting on us and telling you we the enemy.

I got no dog in this fight, but love or hate Yvette and Tone these muthfuckas have an audience. The old ways of the black elite are done. Don’t nobody give a fuck if you pledged or went to an HBCU or were in Jack and Jill. Roland and his ilk are getting bodied by a politically mature audience. These twitter folk have no chill and no time for formalities.

The fact that they even had to address ADOS is telling.

I said the bolded in my first response to you...the statement after that is some division "we did more" bullshit....there has been reaching out on all sides and fuckery elements on all sides

Good riddance. We need outside voices who can start discussions that have been ignored or brushed off and challenge politicans and their media sycophants on both sides of the aisle.

You also said some other slick shit

It’s funny cuz the fact that you took offense to akata and yankee being put together, trying to distinguish YOUR word from the other one which must be the bad one is the division.

Yeah. I hate that they’re kinda all over the place but oh well. Can’t cintrol everything. Gotta take the good with the bad

Those black elite have always been gatekeepers and mouthpieces for the democrats and this is why you see them doing the dirty work in the news going against the underground black media. The democrats can't come out and attack them because it would legitimize them and give them credibility so they sic their guard dogs on them. This latest attempt is a way to get social media platforms to ban underground news outlets as Russian trolls and individual accounts as bots.

That will help in silencing voices bringing up legitimate questions about the parties candidates and also remove the platform for black folks to introduce the conversation (third rail topic btw) for black people getting any real tangibles from those candidates in exchange for our support. All of that and the democrats can claim they had nothing to do with it.

You also said some other slick shit

Nah, I just felt the need to clarify since a lot of folks on this board didnt grow up around foreign Blacks...Caribbean folks don't have high numbers in every metro...your statement made akata and yankee sound like the same thing...whatever issues both groups may have with each other, the word yankee aint it....not sure what slick shit you are referring to Boss...feel free to point it out whenever you feel like or we can move on from this...make sure its actually some shit I said and not your interpretation of it though...in other words, dont put words in my mouth

It's also kinda strange how the OP starts these threads and each and every time, falls back without posting because his mission has been accomplished.... to keep black people fighting against each other while he sits back and laugh.

He's been called on this type of shit for years and yall keep falling for it.

I thought we had smarter people than that on here. Smh.
