Now Trending: #MeTooHeWasAQue

I mean this scenario just don’t seem like a great idea for a female. You got a house where a bunch of niggas live , a bunch of Q oil , bbq pit smoking , and weed mixed in. Don’t seem to bright to be like I’m sleep over there. Rape is wrong but dam that just don’t seem a great idea. I know when I was in college I was always like going home. I don’t know what boys got going on in they crib. Drugs or whatever

Man this board is getting too damn rapey. Like the whole last week has been crazy.

Might be time for a break. I just pray your daughters never get involved with men like their fathers. I pray they find better men.

My office door is always stays open when women come in and I always have somebody else with me whether it is a meeting or lunch. Not going to get caught out here. The crazy thing is that if you go too far with just avoiding them in the office, that can be seen as sexual harassment itself. :smh:

Crazy because white feminist complain about guys that do the same thing you're doing. If a person want to protect themselves they have the right to. That's like home burglars complaining about a home owner getting ADT, a gun and a guard dog.

I for the most part stay away from white women at work. I've seen how petty they can be.

Naw this shit has happened B whether you want to accept it or not, maybe it did not happen on your campus but you can't say you have been to every college campus. I will say it was worse before the fall of 1991 when pledging was banned for the intake process. There is a reason why an intake process was needed in the first place because some members of the D9 were not exhibiting brotherhood and sisterhood. It does not take away from the good work they do in the community as an organization, but they are still filled with people who are flawed.

:roflmao2: @ pledging was banned.

Yeah, I could see that in the future. New voices will come along and say how things got to extreme in this era and try to compensate for it somehow.

Sidenote on thread. I remember my Aunt watching this guy Todd Manning back in the day on a soap opera with the storyline he was a monster who helped rape Marty Saybrook. It is pretty much what OP posted, but way back in 80's or sometime.

Damn...

This was back when i still watched soap

This storyline was controversial as HELL

White frats were pissed cause remember it was mostly moms aunts grandma watching this stuff.

And then they did the usual soap thing

She fell in love with her rapist.

What are you nigga's telling your sons?

Because that "chic's mad cause they were hoes" ain't gonna hold up in court.

I know yall wanna cuss me out for saying that but your sons have to watch themselves and what they do, it's not 1995

I'm a Que and so is my Son!!
This hashtag is Stupid and Problematic First they came for the Que's what's next the Kappa's or the Alpha's or the Sigma's then the Mason's ... Don't condem an entire ORGANIZATION because of the actions of a FEW!! I've been a Que for over 30 years and I have never RUSHED the Pussy my Dad taught me NO means NO and Taught my son the SAME lesson and even took a step further letting him know that in this current time with technology to be very VERY Careful of things you do cause a few minutes of NONSENSE can cause you to lose your FREEDOM!!

Sterotyping of anyone is not acceptable!!

Do you dudes listen to yourselves lol. If she was drunk and high to the point that she didnt know what was happening then it IS rape. The fact that people are downplaying this is pretty alarming.

And if we are both drunk and high it's my fault as a man. That's my point, we don't give it a slight chance. If you are falling down drunk, or slurring your speech you get sent home. I'm not catching a case cause you liked me when you were tipsy.

The point to my story was we had a bad ass stripper drunk throwing the pussy. Bitch fell in my bathroom and bust her head and cats was ready to run a train. Drunk as I was and as fine as she was I stopped that shit.

But if it was just me alone and she came in my bed and started sucking me off, my drunk ass probably would have fucked her. Would that be rape? Probably because as a man I'm always accountable no matter what and that's kind of fucked up. Men don't get mistakes.

There a feminist that says unless a man has a signed consent form for sex, all sexual activity is considered rape. She might have a point nowadays.

Man this board is getting too damn rapey. Like the whole last week has been crazy.

Might be time for a break. I just pray your daughters never get involved with men like their fathers. I pray they find better men.
The climate that Feminists like the above mentioned have created is what you sound like.

Ya still need more evidence of gunning for the black man and putting a black face on sexual predators? Or ya need some more time some more headlines aiming at black males destroying the image?

Juss want drop this lil bit of info...it was in 89 where 5 young black males were falsely accused of raping aa jogger in central park in nyc..they made it the front cover of every newspaper painting the picture of savage black males...your current president finance ads pushing this agenda and imagery.. Black men in hoodies became the poster child for rapist...white women grabbed their bags and cross the streets for yrs whenever groups of Black man would walk down the same street...people were scared shitless to go to central park at night... Kinda funny how this reminds me of that..that was 30 yrs ago and trump was 1 of the biggest pusher of that... 30 hrs later he's the President and the sex predator campaign returns...think on that fellows

:roflmao2: @ pledging was banned.

Yes it was banned. Entire chapters have gotten suspended from campus if there was credible evidence of hazing. However underground lines are a different story. It is hard to break tradition. Intake process and Underground lines are two totally different experiences for those who seek to join. Those who go underground get the most respect. Fact.

I understand your point. But pledging is just banned on paper. The only time chapters get snatched is when shit gets out of hand or someone dies. Grad advisors be in on the shit. Nationals knows the shit is happening. They only act when they HAVE to. Otherwise they look the other way.

I can go on forever about this.

There was just a news article a few weeks ago about a 45 year old dude pledging que psi phi. That nigga called the police after they gave him a ridiculous amount of sets.

U think nationals don't know that lamps are still taking sets. Fuckouttaherewiththatbullshit.

I'll be goddamn if I'm a grown mf man pledging like I'm in undergrad. Let me learn my poems, take my test, I pay my money, you give me my member card. Imagine my grown ass letting somebody slap me, and give me wood til I can't stand. Got me fucked up.

So we're just have a difference on semantics when discussing what's on the books legally vs. what is really happening. I also agree with you that the national headquarters of every D9 organizations knows that underground lines are still going on. Hell even the schools that hold various chapters know what the deal is. Once again semantics.

On another note everyone knows this ain't just a D9 problem. White frats and soros IMO are way worse when it comes to pledging. Personally I have no problem with pledging and underground lines as long as things are on the up and up and no one is getting killed, hurt, or have their reputations ruined. Those who seek to join a frat or soro through traditional pledging means knows that put downs, subservience, and some physicality is to be expected but the hazing against them should never be malicious and overly exploitative.

The problem was with all frats and soros before they got checked in fall of 91 was some of the big brothers and sisters were extremely extra with the hazing and discriminating against certain people which turned away lots of good potential people who could have uplifted their organizations. The fact remains there was rampant physcial abuse, rapant mental abuse, sleep deprivation, and financial exploitation of pledges. Sadly the extreme hazing still takes place to this day.

Yep. Good point.

There was also this, which actually brought back the tension.
https://www.nytimes.com/1994/04/14/nyregion/5-youths-arrested-in-rape-of-coney-island-jogger.html

I knew/know these dudes. Didn't hang with them much, traded comics with one dude that lived two floors below new. Some are actually just coming home. Also, 2 are related to Steph Marbury.

True.

But at this point in the game; your UG chapter gets snatched; it might be a permanent wrap, and I say this as a pro-“process” person who realizes the liability financially to the organization and the physical and mental harm to the aspirant; it’s not worth it. For what; not to be known as being paper?

I’ve told my org leadership and friend in other orgs; in 10 years, UG will be a thing of the past. Waning interest; ridiculous fees to join and stay active; a more public light being cast on hazing; the cost of lawsuits (AKAs at Northwestern and their Nationals just got sued because a girl on the b-ball team was online and committed suicide); too much that doesn’t add to the bottom line of generating revenue.

Hell, just about ALL the chicks at my schools who were too broke, too slutty, too scared, too lame, just didn’t get picked, had bad grades (quite a few fell under this one); they all just joined via the grad chapter (mainly AKA and Delta) and are enjoying all of whatever benefits they feel mid-career women get from membership. They have careers; good paychecks; go to every convention; pay all dues.......why worry about undergrads, even if the roots of all the organizations are with undergraduate founders? JMHO.

I could have easily did grad but the respect isn’t the same imo. :smh:

I’m glad I went undergrad.

Not that you can’t build a bond in grad but it’s different in undergrad. Although, I know some grad chapters who had just as hellacious process as undergrads but many don’t. But when you fighting in the trenches with someone and y’all all you have to depend on and when it’s all said and done they can vouch for your character. It means something. It’s supposed to be about quality over quantity. You don’t just want anyone in because they paid some dues. You can always tell who the paper ones are too. Those who know know.

:roflmao3:

You’d be surprised.

Some dudes been in the frat but never had a process and went to join another chapter years later just for the underground process. Dudes be late 20’s 30’s 40’s.

Boom.

You hit the nail on the head; it’s why I pay dues but am not in a grad chapter. It’s so non-organic and as you said, pay for play. My sands; common process; common bond; my guys for LIFE.

Meanwhile, I’m still tight with my undergrad chapter and members, old and more recent because of common bonds and not just processes, but commonality of time of life in which we pledged and what it meant personally and to the yard. And even other frat I’ve met since leaving college which was a while ago; in the streets or professionally; within 5 minutes of convo you can tell who is made and paper. The convo is like speaking a common language vs two foreign ones. We still do business if needed but it’s definitely different.

Still, as pro-“process” as I am; I realize that times change and the organization evolves or dies.

FWIW; I have this patch on my line jacket; strolled into a regional conference and caught all the heat

Exactly.

You speak the language or you don’t.

The process does need to change tho.

Maybe needs to be more above ground again. :dunno:

:roflmao3: :roflmao3: :roflmao3: :roflmao3:

I’m dying....

You strolled through regional con with that patch on. :eek2:

You got balls bro. :roflmao3: I can dig it tho.

Told em; a) it was a customer order from College Crib in Nashville and non-refundable and b) my district directors hotel room number if they had a problem with it. I was in a contest that had a prize and a trip to the national convention with it and wound up not even placing when I was clearly the best of the four contestants; probably because of my jacket. Was my first intro to frat politics. I didn’t give a fuck though; I was 21 and loving life. Old heads were hot; undergrad bruhs loved it .

Man, I’ve seen chapters with “bloody”, “gangster”, “swinging”, “death chapter”; young heads back then could GAF.

I see so many chapters wanting to be “bloody” other chapters calling themselves “bloody” but don’t know why they “bloody”. We call ourselves “deadly” other chapters “infamous”, “death row”, and other intimidating names lol

Frat politics is some shit tho. Some of the shit be real petty. :smh:

I’m in tears bruh.

There is an outright onslaught against Straight Black Males.

Not necessarily, this was a daily occurrence on the campus of the majority white school I attended.

The school did manage to settle these grievances without much negative press.

Hey......maybe you’re right.

Carry on.......

So the conclusion is, these chicks don't get raped it's just a ploy against black men. Also, dont put yourself in a situation where there's alcohol if you're a woman because you might get raped and you should know better. Jesus. Afraid to see what some of you niggas history looks like.
