What do you pay for a cut?

My son gets all those damn designs and shit... His cuts can range from $15, simple shit to $25 for thw designs...

$0 for me... $10 for a few blades refills lasts 2 - 3 months

How is Oster? Been thinking about trying them out?

Works for me. I dnt have anything to compare them to. I follow 360jeezy on youtube and its wut he uses so I fig it's good enough for me. He's a bit animated so I watch other guys for serious lessons.

Now a days cordless is getting cheaper. My next pair in a year or so will be cordless. Shuld help with trimming the back and clear the bathroom counter a lil more.

2mins to get to the cut

Swear you can find anything on YouTube. Had to start cutting my shit in grade school because parents couldn't afford to take me to the shop. But damn, learned a lot on YouTube and sharpened my skills.

Nothing. I cut my own hair. It's not that difficult to do. I been cutting my own hair since I was 15. I have saved alot of money from it.

A tip,a tip for the barber,ha I would give him one and that's get a better job....$10.00 just doesn't do it no more I guess, motherfuckers want to shampoo, use razors and dye they hair.

I haven't been to a barber in a couple years. Last I remember it was $15+tip so about $18. I cut my own shit these days. I ain't got much hair left on top. Love y'all though. Y'all took care of me over the years especially during my afro years.

0 for me usually $15 for my son $10+ tip.

I can't cut his curly shit to save my life.
Yo that was my difficulty for a minute with my kid. But the guards and clippers can save you some time and money. Next time you take him to the shop, see what guards they use and in what sections. Check the letgo app after that to find them. I definitely hate taking money from the next brother, but in this day and age where EVERYTHING costs more and the pay isn’t necessarily keeping up with the cost of living have to learn to DIY a lot.

$50 for a cut? Nigga, I'd grow my dreads back. I pay $35 for me and 2 of my sons.
Where?

I'm getting cut in Sherman Oaks now... the only black barbers I could find, without driving an hour

Worst expierece was playing 50 muthafuckin dollars for a fuckin LINE in Burbank...

Needless to say I grew my shit out for a month after that, I wasnt payin 65$ a week to get a cut plus my.boys, it would have been 130 bucks a week

My barber charges $16

I give him anywhere between $20-25 depending on how many loose ones I got

Been cutting me since I was 3

$20 for an edge and taper... $25 for a full cut..nigga decided he was going up from $15/$25 on the first. But since he has a schedule and I don’t have to wait all day I won’t complain

Can get one for 12 bucks on Tuesdays or Wednesday’s plus two bucks for the razor.

I give him 25 bucks usually for my cuts. They just raised the prices but he still getting 25 bucks take that increase out his tip

Old man probably got your hairline looking like a ski slope. I am all for loyalty but I had to let my childhood barber go

35 bucks is the chair open for you when you show up
Yea, appointment only. Shit pricey but it’s really my only luxury expense. Plus my old barber would come to work when he wanted to. Isn’t annoying pulling up to the shop and walking in and your barber not there especially when you going to an event that night or bout to leave for vacation.

Get two pairs of clippers. I use a basic ass Wahls clipper to fade the sides and buzz the top down and an Andis T Outliner for the line up on my beard and hairline.

Been at it a long time so it looks crisp. Benefits are that I save a shit ton of time and money and look fresh pretty consistently since I tend to do it weekly. Drawbacks are that a skilled barber will always be able do a slightly crisper fade and I occasionally miss the atmosphere of my old shop from back in the day.
