when you say cash are you referring to gold left in the satchel or the actual $$$ that arthur had?
to be honest tho...I don’t need all the money I had (about $30k)...I must’ve spent $2-3k @ most throughout the game...I know I didn’t spend $5k cuz I believe you earn a trophy for spending $5k in the game...I hope things are as cheap for online play
the only upgrades I made were the ones that had a direct impact on shooting as far as range...accuracy etc. I’ll more than likely do the same online to minimize costs...the great thing about this time period is I don’t need a shit load of clothes either...4 or 5 outfits should be cool...GTA online had me thinking I was in a fashion show...I’m still be vigilant for hacks early on...this game is easily gonna last 2 maybe 3 years...idk if it will thrive as long as GTA online did...the game carrying over from last gen to current gen gave it a serious second surge
yeah I max out all of my guns on performance - never really changing the appearance etc
maybe - also all of my guns were customized, in your end you chose to stay w/ John and Arthur gave him the satchel?

Another thing been meaning to post about- everyone online swears by schofields but for me after full customizing my cattleman revolvers were more accurate and slightly higher damage than fully custom schofields
Yeah I helped him and got everything. I didn't realize you got the guns back after the Lemoyne attack. I suppose I just went and bought them again before that happened.
overall it was great but there were some moments where the dialogue felt cheesy...in quite a few instances I felt arthur responded to dutch like a sullen child when he should’ve just popped him in his mouth or @ least mouth off to him a little bit more vehemently to increase the tension rather than just literally saying the same shit when they had their back and forths...the tension between them made perfect sense...I just don’t think the execution was as compelling as it should’ve been for a game of this magnitude and how much $$$ went into it...I should be able to sit thru these cutscenes in their entirety as tho I were watching a movie...in some cases I was but more often than not I found myself desperately wanting to cut these scenes short and many times I did bcuz the dialogue just felt drawn out and just didn’t hold my attention...to be fair tho this is an issue that plagues all video games...but w/ the spotlight being on RDR2 and all the acclaim it’s received I feel it’s time for R* to take things up a notch as great as their games are
playing now...just realized I do have the contents of arthur’s satchel...was about to ride into blackwater since it’s cool now...thought to myself I don’t have any guns...and did an about face...seen a stagecoach being held up and thought can’t do shit...no guns...then realized hey they have guns...tackled the 2 gunmen and choked them out...now I have guns lol

I guess...I’ve made it past the chores and even the “action” fees like a chore...game should’ve ended @ the conclusion of chapter 6...I just can’t get into the epilogue...I’ve met sadie and did the first mission w/ her...shit feels like a complete reboot which is a huge letdown so far after the events of chap. 5-6
Its all apart of telling a story. The epilogue is purely for showing the events between RDR2-RDR1. After you get your full selection of guns back in your inventory you can do whatever you want. Just stick with it. You're about to meet some old friends. After you finish the full epilogue you can visit the gang members in their new lives around the map.

I'm taking a break from hunting. I have most of the trapper clothing bought. Now I'm making my way through Chapter 3. I wish you could get all of the legendary animals and challenges done without having to finish the game first. Respect.

Well Dutch said that to John in the first game. We never have any evidence. But there's a part where one of the girls say to her why don't you go out into town and something like whore yourself out. Abigail says I'm not that type of woman anymore.
Authur has it in his journal that he always wanted to be with Abigail but he was with Mary. That's also probably some of the beef he had deep down with John. Sucks that Authur never gets any pussy in the game lol.
Mary Beth and Authur were supposed to have a romance but it was cut from what I've read on Reddit. Which seems true based on some of their interactions. You can dance with Mary Beth at camp when Shaun returns and also there's dialogue where she flirts with Authur after an hair cut. Not to mention the therapy sessions.

Not even going to bother to try to finish the story before online comes out next week. I'm still at 47% of the story after three weeks.

Yeah that's some bullshit and also if you die while carrying a legendary pelt it automatically goes to the Trapper and you don't get the money for it. It happened to me after I caught the Legendary Gator, another gator killed me.
You get a message saying "You abandoned your Legendary Animal. Visit the nearest Fence and Trapper to access the quality parts and pelt for crafting."
The Trapper will automatically get the pelt so you won't be able to sell it to him. I lost $50 cause I couldn't sell the Legendary Gator pelt. I was fuckin pissed.
the stars represent the quality of the pelt.
1 star = poor
2 stars = good
3 stars = perfect
but you have to kill it with the right weapon to maintain its quality.
