...when/if you do the glitch trick below correctly you can grab as much gold as you want...minimum is 1 bar...maximum is 15 if you only use the glitch once...between upgrading the camp and weapons/ammo along w/ buying a few new cloths I’ve burned thru $2-3k already
you can do it whenever you want but yes I did it during chapter 2...also @ some point if you keep doing missions you will eventually unlock the fence by the emerald station...that’s where you sell the gold
there’s supposed to be another one...in a cave...you’re supposed to be able to do it indefinitely but I could only get the 3 gold bars as intended...I think R* may have patched it or maybe I was just doing it wrong
here’s the other glitch...idk if it still works as far as duplicating it goes but @ the very least you will get 3 gold bars...

Only thing I don't like is how you have to press pause to get to the map.
If you hold pause it goes straight to the map
Pause menu under "story" I believe.
I came across a rally in the woods, they were inducting a new member. I took out the sniper rifle and went to work. I threw the leader on the burning cross.
Another time I caught 2 klansmen and the grand wizard trying to put up a cross. The two klansmen fucked up and dropped the cross on themselves and died. After that I hogtied the boss and took him to the tracks.
My honor level went UP both times. Another time I did a side mission for this ex slave master. Yeah he got that work too. Burned him in his campfire.
I have an X and an S and you can definitely tell the difference
I noticed that they keep switching my horse on me. Originally I got a race horse while with Hosea. Then I saved and switched her consoles and noticed that my horse is now a standard horse, with the same name and bond level 4 as my original horse . I went back to the stall and see my original race horse for sale. I buy him again, he's free, build up my bond and he disappears again. I'm like fuck it now, I'll ride around with this basic bitch
You might've forgot to turn off autosave. That wasn't in the original set of instructions posted, it was mentioned later.
Turn off auto save as soon as you get to the location.
Then go to the gold bar in the sheriff's office.
Open the box, then hit pick up the bar.
When the animation of reaching for the gold bar starts, hit the start button and create a new game save.
Then without going back to the game, load the game save you just created.
When the game loads, it'll put you a little bit away from the sheriff's office.
You'll know you did it correct when the gold bar is in the loot box by itself. If there's a pamphlet or something else in the loot box with the gold bar, you did it wrong.
You can collect 30 gold bars, and sell them to a fencer for 15k. And you can do the glitch as many times as you want.
To unlock the fencer, you have to do the second Hosea mission where you steal the wagon in Chapter 2.
That photographer is a pain in the ass but I have to admit the wolves pic he gives you is dope as fuck!!
you’re describing a different glitch...that one worked fine...I’m talking about the one in the cave

I rarely save. Game is long enough as it is. I ain't going back!
I did the same thing to that slave-catcher!
lmao I felt the same way initially...it calms down a lot...you basically have to make sure tho that you move correctly when you’re in these little ass towns...and if you kill someone on the paths make sure no one is around
