You better start eating food! REAL food like venison, pork, steak, etc... Keep that dead eye meter full at all times. That shit is a life saver.
I almost got caught lackin once crossing a bridge... They popped up out of nowhere, guns drawn, ready to rob me... I hit dead eye and dude that was closest to my horse caught a whole face full of shotgun slug. From there everybody else start shooting but I managed to get past them, turn back and kill all of them.
But I was ALMOST got... Dude was damn near reaching in my saddlebag when I popped him
The landscape is great in this game.
The Sawed off is nice... but I wouldn't recommend it for dual welding. It's to slow on the reload when it comes to hectic battles..
I would also recommend getting the extended scoop with the long barrel for the sniper rifle..
That shit has saved my ass more then once...

First, I started off using the sawed off shotgun + a Revolver as my dual wield.
You can chop folks down @ close range with the shotty... or split their wig apart (from distance) with a Revolver.
Nice combo.
Then after awhile, I switched to using 2 Schofield pistols. This was awesome.
The reload rate was a lot faster than the Shotty+Revolver combo.
But now I'm using 2 pistols taken from 2 of the dead bodies of Famous Gunslingers.
I like their fast reload rate, their range & the damage they do.
Plus the engraving / designs are very cool.

But I might go back to using a pair of Schofield Revolvers. I got real comfortable using those.
I don't know what the fuck happened..
But after the shit went down in Valentine... I can no longer find the pictures of the gunslingers in my satchel.
I hope that I didn't miss my chance.
Side Note... I got my fucking ass handed to me by two Lemoyne boys in the Saloon in Rhodes..

I accidently bump into one of the dudes when I'm heading out to take my bath.
These dudes decide to jump me...
Fucking Fight was beyond epic...
Shit lasted a good 15 minutes.. Neither of those dudes were going down.
Eventually they got the upper hand when one of them got behind me and grabbed me while the other proceeded to repeatedly punch me... before I could break free.
When I died.... I immediately ran back to the bar to confront these dudes for my revenge..
Fucking sat there 30 minutes waiting until I gave up..
... Man every day..
Something happens in this game that just blows my mind.
This shit was like some kind of old west brawl... I was even able to knock one of the dudes heads into the side of the Bar.
I just don't have any clue how ROCKSTAR was able to fit this much gawd damn content in this game.
Now I understand why it's an 100 GB install.
Rockstar gives you all this shit for $60 bucks..
While CALL OF DUTY... just gives you a bunch of multiplayer maps and no single player for the same amount of money. Like how is this shit legal!!

I gave that dude some medicine and he was thankful for that. Bumped into him in town and he told me to go get something from the general store and put it on his tab.
I did the same thing but I ran into him outside the gunsmith told me I can get whatever I want on him. I was still early on on the game so most of the good shit was still locked. I wonder if I could have held off and come back after I leveled up and bought the most expensive gun available.

There is a bug to be careful of. Not sure if it is the website or if the app triggers it. I could not reload my game properly because I had too many items pending in the catalog on the website. I could do anything as long as I sat still. Once I moved an inch the game crashed when it loads the time of day. Ended up starting over but it's cool because I was able to do some things over and catch up to my last save easily. Not sure if it was the amount of items or the fact it let me buy stuff I hadn't ran into within the game yet. I had to go to the website to pending orders and remove everything pending. I was trying to buy clothes faster mostly since it takes forever in the store.

3 tips for whistling for your horse...
1 - If you ever get ambushed & somebody steals your horse... just whistle. Your horse will immediately stop running... buck the new rider off... and come back to you.
2 - Notice there are 2 types of whistles. (Long and short.) The long whistle will make your horse come to your vicinity & follow you around.
3 - The short whistle will call your horse to your vicinity, but it will stop moving. This is good for hunting... to keep your horse close by, but not ‘too close’... since your horse won’t be following you around, making noise & scaring off all the animals, as you stalk your prey (on foot).

You can watch this video to see the locations of the first 4 gunslingers.
If you don’t want to spoil ‘what happens’ & only want to ‘see the 4 locations’ on the map... just skip to the 0:20 mark, the 3:55 mark, the 8:00 mark & the 14:45 mark.
Billy Midnight will be riding on a train. Talk to the guy at the ticket counter & he will tell you when his train arrives.
Emmet Granger lives on a pig farm.
Flaco Hernandez is hiding out in the snowy mountains. You gotta kill all his henchmen first. He will be waiting in a cabin when all the smoke clears.
Black Bette lives in a rundown shack, in the swamplands.
Be sure to take a photo of each one.
(Dead or Alive)Once you take these 4 photos of the gunslingers, you will need to meet up with Levi (the Writer) again to continue the mission. His location should automatically appear on your map.
The final gunslinger #5 will unlock once you reach Chapter 4 in the main story missions.

I let dat pussy die then looted his body.
It was a brother so I had to help him...
Only thing I don't like is how you have to press pause to get to the map.
