No they are searching the dead man's apartment looking for evidence to smear his person and diminish public sympathy for the victim so they can create a narrative to justify the shooting
That's how they get all the free shit that comes with being a cop like free housing (her apartment was likely free of charge) free entry to movie theaters, reduced prices at restaurants, and public places of entertainment like parks, clubs and theme parks etc. etc.

Step 4 - Now go execute that Search Warrant... while you are "tired as shit".... and be sure your 'hands are full' also.
Step 5 - Claim you were 'Standing Your Ground'... while you fumbled for your keys... with an armful of groceries... so you had 'no choice' but to draw your weapon in 'self-defense'.... and fire indiscriminately into a DARK ASS living room...that is (literally) NOT your place of residence.
And where the HELL exactly is the Search Warrant for the FEMALE OFFICER's home, laptop & cell phone????
These guys are busy 'searching for narcotics' in the home of the Victim.... but they not 'searching for ANY narcotics' in the home of the Shooter. And they not searching nothing that belongs to HER.
They running up into courtrooms.... getting judges to sign everything under the sun to smear the victim & searh through his stuff... but there is ZERO paperwork whatsoever that shows that SHE is under investigation, using the SAME DEGREE of voracity.
