Yep the student loan crisis is Coming to a head

I have about 27k in loans. I graduated in 2016...Look, here's my take. IM NOT PAYING ALL OF IT. May sound immature but im not paying them all of it. I haven't paid a dime since i graduated because i've used business loans to sidestep making payments. I'll throw them about $150 every month and that's about it. They'll never get all their money.

So you believe.
My wife been paying off 3-4x what her loan was from 20 yrs ago because of interest and nonsense fees.

It's the one thing you can never get out of, so very doubtful that you'll get out of paying it all back. But good luck.

So are you just going to keep paying the minimum or will you just tell them to fuck off at some point all together?

Unfortunately you will pay it back or you'll be garnished. You're making payments so to them you're doing something, but stop long enough and see what happens.

Im self employed. They're not going to "garnish" anything but money i get back from tax returns (which is non because i always pay). Trust me, it works for self employed people lol. All i have to do is take out a 500K+ loan around every October and im in the "red" a lot, but im not really in the red. It's a chance i take...I know but if i continue doing it, i'll continue to avoid paying them.

Just make sure to squirrel some of that business loan money away for your future commissary.

I'm confused cause you said you're not paying them, but in the other post said you pay them like $150 a month?
And I don't understand how a business loan avoids you from paying a student loan.

Something I forgot is the only real way to avoid paying student loans is to continue taking courses, like one every semester like forever. I forgot my wife has a distant cousin in her 40's I think, she's been doing it forever.

rolmfao I give ZERO fucks.
I filed my Sf181, Statutory Declaration, & Statutory Claim & ALL the negative shit on my credit report came off! I had $70 k in student loans...... 1st the $50 k disappeared then the $20k.
When you are WHITE in commerce & NOT black...... you get treated like you are supposed too. Ask Tiffany Hadesh or Waka Flaka....Holla @ Cheif Nanya El.
If you claim to be black...... you are dead / illegal in commerce & have no legal standing! ALL black people have no legal standing & are SLAVES / debtors.
:yes::dance: WHITE POWER!!!!!:grin:

if you meet the requirements...GPA and SAT or ACT scores...and you get admitted...college should be free...at least the Public/State Universities....

these student loans are like...havin' a gorilla on your back.....it's like you're gettin' punished for bein' smart...hard-workin'..and ambitious....

More info on this please!!???
I had to search this up. Supposedly years ago they ruled against race designations. So people out here claiming they are white

Didn't yall willingly get these loans? Were you lied to about them or something? I don't understand why paying back a loan you willingly signed up for is fucked up.If you didn't feel the loan was fair, why did you signup to get it?

You’re lucky you only have 27k in student loan debt....there are people who graduated with you and were in school the same amount of time with tens of thousands more

I’m just going to put my quote from 2015.... I’ve been on this problem since 2009. This will be worse then then the housing bubble bursting.

Obama has been pushing for this for years. In my opinion this is the next big Financial crisis and it is coming quick. It's going to be worst then the housing crisis. Right now you have millions of people walking around with student load debt into the hundreds and no way to pay it back. What he passed a couple years ago where your debt will be wiped out after 25 years will help, but you have to fall in a very specific category to qualify. Most people put off their loans as long as humanly possible, but eventually you will have to pay and when that happens you don't have any money left to contribute to the economy.

We are currently heading into the years where my generation... the 29 and up are being told that they can no longer hold off paying their student loans and now they are either forced to pay or go back to school for some bullshit degree to get more forbearance time. I give us 5 to 6 more years before shit hits the fan....

5 to 6 more years... I was pretty close

I said "i'll throw them like $150". As of this moment, i'm not paying anything. I have an LLC (single member LLC), unlike an S-corp, all profits, losses etc flow through me. Here's the difference, with an S-Corp, i'd pay myself and be an employee of my own company. I'd possibly state that i own so and so amount of the company and my GF own so and so amount of the company and pay her too for the sake of simplicity.
Now with a single member LLC (single member LLC), you're responsible for EVERYTHING. If your company goes bankrupt then creditors car coing to take your shit. You have very little protection with a single member LLC. Even commercial liability insurance won't help you in most cases. Now, if i take out a short term loan (right now i have a loan from Wells Fargo (business account since inception of business), Bank of America (i actually have a business account with them too), PayPal bank (some shit called "Weebank" LOL) and Amazon totally about 500k+. My business doesn't make that much in a year...... I fill my taxes and my accountant added my on going obligations. I pay them all. Rinse and repeat.
Also, my end inventory on December 31st and my SEP IRA deductions are tailed into the final amount somehow. Im supposed to start payment on 8/24/18 this year. I just do my IDR online, pull my tax returns from the IRS tool et viola...

Because it's unfair to students. It's bad enough that the idiots then go ahead and PUT INTEREST on it too. Are you serious....putting interest on a college kids future? Putting that kind of pressure on them before they even graduate?
Cuny schools should be FREE. Funny enough they made them free after i graduated. I would have qualified to that NY free college bullshit.
