I wish schools would teach the Constitution more often because everyone is under the false assumption that Freedom of Speech applies to you job and it doesn't.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
If the Gov't prohibits your speech then you may have a case but your private employer not so much and because of social media - you speech that your employer may dismiss you over can extend to the internet in general - so when some on BGOL get their real info outed and all of their past posts can potentially be sent to their employer and cause them to be fired.
Yup and its legal. I can tell you from first hand experience that Hospitals and the Healthcare business in general take social media seriously. They will not have idiots fucking up their rep by association. Most of them now have directives and guides for use of social media. They also let you now you can be fired for private activities on your personal social media pages. She got fired for that?

Have you seen the spelling on bgol? Then again, that would explain a lot. It's always a fat white bitch that can't spell.

Your best bet is not to mention where you work and don't have any pictures up of you at work.
She got fired for that?
Yeah I know all that and people here are happy because we don't agree with what she said......but that's entering a dangerous zone in my opinion. What she said was offensive lite...You tweet Trump supports are idiots...They can fire you for that...that's cool?
If this will b the results of them talkn slick, then I need more people like her to stand up for what they believe in!
I don't know her position at the hospital, but if a police suspect were to die under her care, would it had been inevitable or caused by her lack of care or intentional act toward someone she feels is a waste of human life?
Certain fields where one's biased views can mean life, death, or destruction, people with known problematic views should be let go, IMO.

I've seen coworkers get in trouble or fired for saying shit that was taken as offensive. That is the price you pay for free speech.
IIRC, this is the second white bitch that worked for them to get fired for reckless posting. I see some of you still don't get the concept of free speech and private enterprise not going together. Once she clocks out and walks out that door, she can spew all the shit desires. Once she's on the clock, her "free speech" is on hiatus.
