The show is subjective as hell man. This is not a show for white folks. There is a lot of cultural aspects that can easily fly over folks head. This show is also demographic specific. And even further, not only demographic specific; age range as well.

It’s doesn’t translate to other folks the way it does with Black folks between 30 and 50.

For example, the Medea crowd my not find Luke Cage a good show. But people who grow up on Wu Tang will. At the same time, folks that’s born after 1995 may not be into it.

I think people just hate the love interest aspect of these shows. Some just want to see action. And when we turn on a superhero show, we don't want to see the same thing we deal with on a regular basis, like a nagging female.

Probably because when you binge it, it seems longer. As opposed to watching something once a week, you don't even pay attention to how long the season is. But I have no problem with how many episodes this has. I didn't want it to end.
