So far I’m really enjoying this season...

This is what I’ve noticed...

While the first season felt like a Gang Starr Album... with its Blackness and ferocity




So far this season feels like straight up Pete Rock & CL smooth album. There is this jazzy quality to it. Kind of an introspective on Power and it’s corrupting influences.

Am i the only who thinks Mike Colter (Luke Cage) is a bad actor. I never felt he was right for the part. He has the look but he seems too square.

haven't finished yet, bout to get some sleep, but this might be the first netflix marvel sequel i'm thoroughly enjoying more its first season.
the harlem/brooklyn contrast is amazing.

Not sure how I feel about it yet. Good music of course, but the show is all over the place and sometimes runs a little stale with a lot of filler scenes.

And Shades is a true bitch boy. It’s been a long while since I’ve seen a bitch boy on a show

Happy that Hispanic chick left...hope she doesnt come back. WTF did she keep pestering dude about his father instead of giving him time? She was such an annoying character. He should have been with a black chick anyway...would have been able to stomach her then. Seems like sparks are flying with him and Mariyah's daughter though.

Bushmaster is a dope villain. He seems more "human" than both Cottonmouth and Diamondback. I like how they are humanizing him by showing him in that restaurant with his peeps and family. Dude is ruthless when he is not around them though.

You know Rosario Dawson is half Afro Cubano..

Meaning she is half black just like her character.

Plus I like the night nurse.... she is basically the only one that can help these superheroes when they get injured. I do get the father thing.. but on the real that’s what chicks do. Ever chick I’ve ever dated pestered me about working things out with my pops. Every single one of them.

While Jessica meandered her parent story....
