So the east is only putting three to four players on the teams not including Lebron. That's the disparity in talent.

That's why you have to add context to the finals accomplishment. The east has sucked since Boston and Detroit went down. What team in the east would have challenged San Antonio, Dallas or Golden State beside Miami or Cleveland. You can say Toronto wouldn't beat the fourth best team in the west in a seven game series. This is the best the east has been, because you see that Boston, Philly, Milwaukee and Indiana are young and have a future if they stay on course.

Yeah the refs swallowed their whistles big time in that second half but they didn’t cost the Rockets the game. Most of those bullshit non-calls on Harden and Gordon were shots were they weren’t even trying to make the shot anyway, they were just trying to draw fouls. I haven’t watched FirstTake yet but Shannon Sharpe and Jason Terry are saying what everybody else is saying, the Rockets jacking up bad 3’s is what cost the game. Of course. They don't even feel like real competitors. Curry is a two-time MVP who doesn't even need to bring it every night. Instead of needing Thompson to be that second offensive weapon down the stretch, they just need a good half out of him occasionally. That's why Durant was saying "he thought he would feel full after winning a title but he doesn't". Of course, you don't.

They get no props. Adding Durant to a 73 win team stacks the deck so much in their favor that they just take turns showing up. Every other title team had at least one player who had to deliver every night or it was over.
