It was exactly the threat of the Rockets getting hot from three that kept the Warriors from rotating. They were willing to give the Rockets attempts at the rim instead of giving them threes.

Did you see GS do a single thing all series to stop the Rockets from driving? Nope. They let the Rockets drive and planned to meet them at the rim. They were willing to give chances at 2s to not give up 3s.

The Rockets built a 15 point lead, they came into the 3rd quarter with an 11 point lead, at that point you control the tempo with drives and kick outs and ball movement to get good shots. The Rockets just started jacking up 3’s, at least 3 different times they got multiple offensive rebounds and never tried to take it back up, instead after every offensive rebound they kicked it out for a jack up 3. If the Warriors were giving the Rockets easy lanes to the rim and instead The Rockets chose to jack up 3’s then their offense deserves to be clowned
