Wife been wanting one forever. The only thing I'll warn you about from reading about them you need to be warned about are the lights.
Thieves go around and steal the lights. When you have to replace them, will be thousands of dollars.
Avoid it by buying one way screws for them with the screwdriver. Or the screwdriver and heads with the two holes on them. Or any head that's not a flathead or Philips so someone can't catch you in a shopping mall or even your own driveway.
You can find these screws on Bolt Depot or Fastenal, called Spanner Head

it's not fun to drive. no i don't own one but i have access to one whenever i want to drive it. i'm glad i was able to drive it before considering when i bought a suv. you'll look good in it no matter what but the handling in everyday driving makes me hesitate, especially on curves. my wife has the gl450 though much better vehicle
I use to have a 2014 G63 AMG but I traded it in though. I just got tired of it. It stayed having to have some mechanical shit done to it so I said fuck it I’m getting rid of it and I did and I’m glad I did.

I've only rode in one and they are nice but those doors were heavy and I just felt like if we did get into a wreck we would be ok long as we didn't fall off a cliff or catch fire.
Unreliable piece of shit . Do you plan on going on a safari ? There is absolutely no reason for this car in the city other than to let people know you got money. Like a Range Rover you’re just driving a big ass off road car in the city like a fucking moron to look well off. Be warned maintenance ain’t cheap so I hope you make at least 200k a year to not mind blowing money on the up keep

well i got the s63 pearl color..trying to match em up..yeh I got paper and fuck with the head mechanic at my local BENZ dealership on the side...Im 300 pounds and need something different from escalades..got a couple of them. and they change the body too much..I aint buying it for safaris..I really like the fact that it aint changed since the 70's...brah
Just get a Range Rover it’s half the price and just as unreliable

I found it to be extremely fun to drive. I don't even like the way they look, but had some time with an amg and loved driving it. I liked the speed and the handling. I didnt get a chance to take it off road at all, but I'm sure I would love that ride even more. I would beat mine up if I had one. I doubt I could swing the amg and am used to driving a landcruiser that hardly ever needs work. I better stop lunchin

not really. it's a lot more reliable then the g wagon and just as expensive. unreliable rovers are the pre 2006

with the g wagon? it sucks to drive after a while. like i said i hesitate hitting corners a lot of times, more like you're driving a heavy military vehicle instead of something luxury. heavy stops, terrible turning, it's really good if you're on a straightaway. drove one to toronto and hated it after about 2 hours behind the wheel. if u like driving slow so everyone can see u, yeah this is the vehicle. if not, get the GL series or a range rover. i bought a 2015 range rover auto 8 months ago deciding between that and the infinity and i have no complaints

My sister is rich for starters. Just because one has the money doesn’t mean she likes blowing it on a car. Not to mention her time. She spent so much time at the dealership it was outrageous. Who has time for that shit. The problem is the amount of time wasted in loaner cars and recalls. The car constantly had the check engine or brake light on. A blown Turbo at 5000 miles is uncalled for. Rotors warped and needed replacement. Moon roof stopped opening. All under 10k miles
It handled good but I just didn’t like having to get it worked on so often cause that shit was eating my pockets up. I payed $89K for mines when I got it. I had it for a couple of years but I just got tired of the little shit that kept sending me to the Benz shop to get stuff fixed on it.
if you’re 300lbs you’re better off on investing in a personal trainer and a bicycle! after about a year you’ll be able to fit comfortably into some of the nicer SUV’s....X5M, Cayenne Turbo, etc etc....

Don't do it. I helped my friend buy one and it's the most crude vehicle that you can buy. It handles like pure shit and it's so unreliable that even Mercedes won't sell extended warranty on it.

Nah the sedan..got two kids can't do em like that..it ain't been notorious on repairs..hit the gas and that hoix sang..I say get one..it's a fucking race car though.. brah

His 2002 almost ruined him financially, then he shipped it to sell in Nigeria. He bought a 2014 CPO G550 in 2016 and the car has been very reliable. Again, stay with the sedan or get an escalade if you need an SUV
