0fficial 2017-2018 NBA Postseason Thread....NBA Finals Cavs vs Warriors 0-4(dubs back 2 back champs)

It's not about if he's a coach or assistant coach. I'm not gonna use him as a scapegoat for why Raptors are ass. Just wont.

Is he your uncle fam?
If you a coach and over 3 years you lost 10 straight to a team and after 1 game your team the #1 seed lost an entire series you talking about scapegoat?

They built this team all the way up they brought everything back and added even more pieces
And what did Casey do?

We talk about teams quitting on a coach but I guess in your eyes they ain't quit on their coach

It's all good man uncle Casey see you riding for him

Cavaliers Rumors: Rodney Hood Refused to Enter 4th Quarter, Angered Teammates

Twelve different Cleveland Cavaliers players saw action in a series-clinching 128-93 Game 4 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Monday in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Rodney Hood was not one of those 12 players, and that was reportedly by choice.

According to The Athletic's Jason Lloyd, Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue attempted to substitute Hood in for LeBron James with a 30-point lead with seven minutes, 38 seconds to play. However, the fourth-year player refused to enter the game, angering his teammates.

"This is the playoffs," an anonymous Cleveland player said.

"We're trying to win a championship. This isn't about you."

Hood was the only guy not to play in Game 4.

He had a rough series, going just 1-of-9 from the floor and scoring two points in 39 minutes through the first three games. The struggling guard had lost his spot in the rotation to rookie Cedi Osman, and before Monday night's game, Lue made it clear he expects more out of the 25-year-old.

"Rodney, he could be better," Lue said, per Lloyd. "He knows that."

In 10 games this postseason, he has averaged 4.6 points on 39.6 percent shooting and 13.3 percent from beyond the arc. He averaged 10.8 points on 44.2 percent shooting (35.2 percent from three) in 21 games following a midseason trade to Cleveland.

Hood was acquired to be a solid three-and-D player, but he hasn't panned out.

Per Lloyd, Cavs general manager Koby Altman intends to meet with Hood to give him a chance to explain himself. Depending on the answer, a suspension could be in play.

Hood has picked a bad time for this. He is in the final year of his contract and is set to become a restricted free agent this summer.

When you don't have a leg to stand on play thr "is he your________" card lol.

Naw they just suck. Anyone with eyes can see even Greg Popovich can't get shit out of these guys. Yeah probably will get your wish...when black coaches overachieve and raise the bar the first thing they do when the team goes bad is fire the black coach so I'm sure he will be fired.

....maybe I'm missing something, but it seems hes been refusing to play for the better part of two months now
Got'em!...

Hill seems to have found a groove...Green shows up every other game. I think Nance & Clarkson will be fine but Hood looks like the odd man out almost everytime he steps on the court...

It's a shame too because Hood blowing a opportunity while his team on a playoff run.

The perfect opportunity!....get your FA stock up while on a playoff run with Lebron, instead this nigga wettin the bed then pouts when he gets benched?...:smh:

What makes it worse,he a very capable player but if his shots ain't going down he loses confidence and he gets very lazy on defense.

Say,what you want about JR,when he's not shooting the ball well,at least his defense doesn't suffer greatly.

Nance hardly played in this series but got him quick 8 points. That could of been him yesterday,if he stopped being a crybaby about shit...:smh:

Fam how on Earth do I not have a leg to stand on?

He just coached the #1 seed to get swept in a series where LeBron James shot 17% from 3 and 58% from the free throw line and the new ppl the Cavs traded for were a non factor while his team quit on him.

I don't wish he'd be fired
Explain to me why he should keep his job? You'd never cape for a coach like this after the performance the team put up like this where they did everything right only to quit .
They can lose I didn't think they'd win but they quit.

When all else fails play the "black coaches get fired" card with a cat who has proven he can't get whatever it is his players need to beat a single team in a series

All year they said they were different

You can't trade derozen and nobody taking Lowry so what now?

He shouldn't be fired because his team is ass. They trash. Everyone can get traded. They shouldn't have been the number one seed but overachieve due to their head coach. His shitty teams can't beat Lebron....the best player in the league.
