You can believe what you went but Henke was a cybermetrics nerd the whole tank thing was done with lots and lots of research and number crunching on his part. You/we can love it or hate it but dude put a lot of thought into what they did.

Acquiring a top draft picks while staying well below the cap to entice a key free agent when the time was right.

Looks Sixers fans are excited now because it’s beginning to show results but when it was happening we all hated it and hated to see the Sixers constantly lose games with no end in sight.

We don’t have to agree but there was thought out into it. Cybermetrics is taking over sports. The browns failed at trying to have a cybermetrics dude run their team. These nerds who probably don’t even enjoy the games are being paid big bucks to crunch these numbers.

Brother, cybermetrics isnt the reason behind your success. It was a concerted effort to give no effort, threw SEASONS to get the most pingpong balls and draft highest player on your draft board. Embiid fell to you due to injury, and you LUCKED up and drew a #1 in a season with a consensus stud as the top prospect. During your SEASONS of tanking you burned picks on unmitigated BUSTS, had the league intervene and assign a defacto GM (coangelo) who then ENDED DA PROCESS and brought in a bunch of mid level shooters to fill out the roster and compliment 3 year redshirt rookie Embiid .

As for the Browns... cybermetrics failure wasnt their issue. Incompetence is. Had they merely sat still and drafted the highest rated QBs in either of the last two seasons they would be set at the position.. Instead they traded out and passed on Wentz and Watson. There is no science to being horrible or tanking and getting high picks my man.

I don’t doubt there was a “Process”, but all they did was get lucky. Losing teams get high draft picks, they were lucky to get two that happen to be true game changers.

No one knew Embiid would be the Embiid he is today. Yes he as drafted high, but no one knew the level of talent that he shows today was even possible.

They have made some good moves though.

I'm not trying to spin anything Bruh. I never bring up the process, I don't think anyone here does.... I'm enjoying this phenomenal talent the Process has brought to my team, the amazing atmosphere down at the center, and will continue to enjoy the growth of this wonderful group of process borne talent who are now one of the talks of the league! Watching generational talent will give you that sense of calm and peace in knowing that a LOT of teams would love to have the talent you do. Such young talent too... Wow!

I think people knew with Embid but I think having to red shirt a year scared teams away......76ers was fine with that because they were tanking anyway so they welcomed red shirt niggas. Yep, like I said. They got “Lucky”. More power to them though. Just have to be honest and say they got lucky because all shitty teams get high draft picks, there’s just worked out.

Definitely took some planning to get pieces in place and you have to credit them with that.
