0fficial 2017-2018 NBA Postseason Thread....NBA Finals Cavs vs Warriors 0-4(dubs back 2 back champs)

Just tuning in, the lil ones had me running around Htown all day(Went from PA, to Jersey Village, to The Galleria, then to Kemeh then back to PA).
Really didn't check any scores, came here once when I missed out getting a photo and autograph from Wiggins and Dieng....

Said all that to ask what did I miss?

- a Great last 5 mins in the Pelicans/Blazers game
- a good game Wiz/Raptors, Lowry and Derozan sort of getting the bullseye off of their back with their playoff struggles
- a dominant performance and end to end ass kicking by the Warriors against the Spurs
- My Sixers totally destroying the Heat in the second half and dropping a buck 30 on their asses...

Pelicans could very well win that series....Jue is a baller but Rondo and Nic were great additi

Raptors fuck them, since they wanted to be fuck ninjas a few yrs ago. Drake had everybody feeling good about Toronto. NBA granted them a allstar, music was hot, they was playing great....fuck them

Spurs ain't in a great place to knock off this Warriors squad. Coaching is one thing but you have to have some dawgs.
I think that why that sss whooping from the Jazz happen. Deal with the Spurs in the first or maybe OKC. I'm not scared of anyone but I'm pick that battle wisely.

Sixers pace might be too much for folks this yr. Probably need dawgs to battle with them also... I'd love to see Lebron there if he has to leave. Having him and Ben would be a highlight reel for the ages but that would rob us of a great battle for yrs to come.
I do thing the Cavs could/will do something nasty this off season. Have a high draft pick, and willingness of the owner to spend. I'm thinking something like adding DeAndre Jordan and the high pick...

I mean the Cavs battled them half cocked just like they're were....that shit is a instant classic if you ask me....

Yeah man, after the past 5 years, its crazy to FINALLY feel like we can compete with anybody. For me, up until the Cavs game, I felt like 'We are improving, may win a playoff game, but I'm just glad to be here'. Now, last night at the Center, even when we were struggling early and down at the half the feeling in the arena was like 'we still can win this' instead of expecting to lose it. I really believe we can compete with anybody in the playoffs. Not sure we can win a chip yet, but ANY team that sees us is going to have to play to beat us, we aren't pushovers anymore man... :yes:

Simmons is LeBron James-ish as for how they see the game. Simmons should be treated like a point guard. And I’m glad to see Philly use him as such. He’s not a small forward even though his position says other wise.

Your core is cohesive and has very good chemistry. Reddick is the perfect asset for that team. As well as Marco. Which is why y’all are going to have to keep shooters on that teams to stay complete.

I cant stress enough how much that will effect how y’all play if you don’t keep shooters as good as Reddick and Marco on your team for future success. They allow Simmons to operate the exact way his game is talored and keeps the paint open for Embid.

Plus, you don’t need Bron for next season. Just let Ben grow into greatness. Bron will turn that system in to his system.

Good luck in the playoffs. I’m rooting for the sixers to do well.

I don’t think they need LeBron, man. But maybe you kats are seeing something I’m not.

At the same time, I was one of the ones that said CP3 and Harden wouldnt work out well, so I definitely could be totally off base.

Actually, I've been on the LeBron train for a minute now, but your next to last sentence really woke me up. You're absolutely correct, and it makes sense to stand pat on the LeBron potential issue because Ben is only 21, and will continue to grow. LeBron having a similar style can't do anything but stifle Ben's growth...

To me, the Marco and Ersan pick ups were the most under-rated deals of the FA season.

Yeah. They play too similar. Bron is not a spot up shooter and he’s too use to being alpha dog. The offense already runs through Embid in late game situations, and that is as old school and reliable as it gets.

Bron is going to bring Bron expectations to a team that is still growing. The star I believe y’all need is something like a Joe Johnson type of player. Honestly, Leonard is who y’all should go after if you needed another star. He doesn’t demand much and probably would have zero issue being part of a system.

Bron is going to takeover and that’s what you don’t want.

Right they don't need him, it kinda touched on that indirectly but that don't mean he won't go there. Lebron holds the power. Maybe the Process would tell him thanks but no thanks.

I hear you but listen to me.......The Bucks just do too much stupid shit to win 4 times out of 7. It sounds good to pick the Bucks cause of all the Celtics injuries but it's not gonna happen.

- thought it was youth, many teams making that argument unworthy,
-gotta be Kidd, he's gonna(not that his decision aint haunting the squad)

But what the fuck, they was the Process before the Process...like what the fuck

Greek Freak you doing you and that's nice, but maybe taking that trip to Cleveland over the summer might've helped. Seem like they trying to leapfrog Ben ahead of yo as the next great great thing

There just not coached well. They fall asleep on defense in games too often in spurts. And they tend to stand around too much on offense making it much easier to defend them.
