Amara La Negra Is A Fraud

Now these aren't my words. We have to wait and see. She seems sincere but may I don't know. But I think people should look at this. This is why I don't support Dominican businesses. Black Brazillians on the other hand are proud to be black and don't claim to be Hispanic from what they've told me. Hopefully this isn't merged too quickly.

................But you are Moor

Why this bitch keep hard swallowing? Amara's skin completion always looked odd to me. The darskinned Latinos or Hispanics aren't the one's you have to worry about its the light skinned/white ones that's the problem. I am Amara's skin complexion, I'm west Indian and I always make that distinction because that's my roots , and the question always comes up "where are you from?" So I let it be known early.

Haead

Cause the head game probably outta control

Amara's skin looks like a sprayed on tan

Is this that chick from Love and hiphop miami?she looks like she caked on makeup and the afro wig is a bit much but again it's television and they are characters so nothing is 100% real in that world;who cares....

Amara clearly going for a look. Beyoncé, Maliah and a host of other colorful chicks have adopted that whole afro sexy look but this time its a dark skinned chick and it stands out. She's mixing that whole vibe with her latin roots and it works.

If you ever seen the vids of her dancing and singing as a lil kid then you know that is her original skin color and she very proud of it. It might be the eyes that throw it off, I dunno. I used to mess with a chick that was darker than her and she wore her hair curled with light brown contacts and it freaked everybody out. White folks were really confused.

Amara got a phat ass

That is the point and all I care about. She is bad as hell, aint no fraud in that.

It's really simple and we've seen it time and time again. Whenever Black americans begin to unify and push for change in our oppression, other groups will jump on the band wagon with the quickness.

This sister is 100% correct. If a Black american went to DR or any other country and started saying "your my brother" they'd kill you, rob you, and throw you in a ditch.

As far as the whole skin color thing - my god when are we going to realize what's been in front of our face for centuries - IT'S A CONSTRUCT OF THE WHITE MAN SOLELY TO DIVIDE US.

The bottom line is, if you gonna be about it, be about it. Don't be "Black By Convenience."

I don't understand this logic. So our African brotha's and Jamaican brothers aren't black or down for the cause because they aren't "black Americans"? Which btw....when the fuck did we start segregating ourselves to that extent?

It doesn't matter.
This chick is just another divisive tool being used to keep Black people seperate from one another and weak.

Amara has NEVER claimed to be African American. So the fact that she "utilizes" aspects of African American culture in her performances or in her messages doesn't negate her stance as an Afro Latina.

There are plenty of "full" African Americans in the public eye who do FAR MORE damage to the interests of African American people than this chick speaks on. Herman Cain, Clarence Thomas, Ben Carson and Sheriff David Clark just to name a few...:hmm:

By law there is no such thing as a afro anything. Its all tools for social engineering to keep our people calling themselves something that keeps them straws and civilly dead.

Some of us didnt come from Africa...we been here...that is why you need to call them Europeans and not Americans

Do tell.
I'm not from Africa either.
But like EVERY other Black person on this planet, my ancestors were.
And it is because of this, (because we are Negro) is why I refuse to take this chick's divisive argument to heart. :smh:
These people will say and do anything to keep Black people apart from one another (Colorism, Culturalism, Nationalism, Politics, Sexuality, Xenophobia etc...) and to help keep us fractured & weak. :hmm:

As to how I choose to speak of White people; well, Caucasians are just Caucasians to me...:dunno:

Has anyone ever been to the islands? Any of them? There is a plethora of skin colors and origins. Jamaica has Asian, Indian and white folks born and raised there. I'm quite sure all the islands are the same. Mexico has black Mexicans. Dominicans have many colors. If Amara wants to identify as AfroLatina, let her.
The people from her country do everything to hide their African roots ie sammy Sosa and his continuous skin bleaching. Check out that documentary I mentioned above if you get a chance

That is your ignorance..dont take that the wrong way...it has everything to do with the Empire and the one flag. Culture has nothing to do with you being able to use something that is the highest law of the land.

The international Courts dont give a fuck about culture. They honor Treaties and hold mfs accountable to those binding contracts

You have no idea What you are talking about......absolutely no idea.

Yep. The first time I saw her years ago. I said she looks like She has make-up all over her body.
MAn there are all types of shades of black people. In America you don't see people her skin color but in other countries you will. I've seen people her color in Nigeria.

I've been black all my life, I know we have different shades, just saying hers look odd

I don't know if WE (Black Americas) distinguish ourselves as much, but I attended college with TONS of Black people from countries in the Caribbean who definitely held onto (and still hold onto) their culture and traditions. I, personally, don't see it as a problem because their islands, although colonized, do have unique histories and everyone should be well educated on their oppressors, I mean, their history. You'll find a few Islanders who believe themselves to be better than Black Americans...but, meh...lol

You have no idea What you are talking about......absolutely no idea.

All people from the islands have this idea they are better than those who are not. Trust me i deal and school them all the time.

Culture is what many try to throw up in the American brothers and sisters faces for some reason thinking we have no culture or history and your history pre dates our history. Its all bullshit...its all a front to try to make American brother and sisters fell like we aint shit but those of us who know the truth and come correct and check yall all of a sudden the convo is mute.

What I am telling you is actual facts...search the library of congress and see George Washington had to bow down, Treaty of Peace and Friendship...the U.S. tried to alter the Treaty in 1952 and the world courts told them...No nothing changes it stays intact. The U.S. even tried to remove itself from the world international courts in 05...nope ya asses csnt leave cause they signed a lifetime contract.

Now bring your proof island culture goes that deep...ill wait

The black ones are but you’re not. You’re Ham
ahahahahaha...........Their ancestors come from my part of Africa...

You can tell in their music, musical instruments and even the
records by the Portuguese that they came from where I come
from. My question was bait, and you swallowed it like the
ignorant fool you are...

No, you and I are not the same; you are an Israeli, and I am
happy things are that way...Hahahahaha

she hustling off that shit. But I just wanna fuck. SO I really dont care about what she talking about.

Ive listened to her speak a total of one time, on the BFC. I mainly just look at her pics and look at her thick ass when she gets her cellulite treatment.

Clearly you don't understand. First of all, I'm not segregating anyone. I said others segregate themselves until it's convenient to be black. And I also said if ya gonna be about it, be about it. Where ever you come from, I don't care. I'm just tired of all the Black by convenience bullshit. And if you don't think people from the Caribbean and Afrika do it you are sadly mistaken.
Understand now?

Damned if you do.........but can you imagine if she didn't? IF she considered herself Latina? People would get in her ass.
This is the funniest thing about all this....Dominicans are rightly called out for their anti African energy and now here is one embracing it and she is getting all kinds of flack...some of those criticising her simply have an issue with foreign Blacks but they try to mask it...sorta like some of the people in this thread...saying us islanders think we are better than y'all as if some of y'all dont think the same...there is fuckery on both sides...one dude, Osca Lee, even said ALL islanders think we are better than Black Americans...got me over here scratching my head cause I didn't even know I felt that way

You are paranoid as fuck. You want proof island culture goes how deep? Many your whole post is ignorant as fuck. America is your homeland, who the fuck is telling you you don't have any culture? How can any other black group come to America and take away your culture? Your rant makes no sense and sounds like recirculating ignorance. Fuck does the world court, library of Congress, etc rant have to do with anything? Fuck outta here with this dumbshit designed to separate us you spitting.

Its definitely a culture shock relocating to America.

America is my homeland..not Africa...hiw is that splitting when you and the rest of peoole who arent born here rep your island or country with pride. When American brothers and sisters rep the real story and know our real history instead if that bullshit story we all came from slaves all of a sudden we sound ignorant to island people and Africans.

If course we do because it puts us on a diff level.

Its definitely a culture shock relocating to America.

And, again, I don't want anyone to "forget" where they come from or feel they have to disown their culture to assimilate to the culture here.

If anything, having the knowledge that someone is Afro-Cubano, Mexican, Trini, etc. can help understand someone's outlook/perspective of American culture, etc.

My bad..not all some...i wont say everyone.

That is the issue we all must understand. Many not all of them think they are better or on another level than American brothers and sisters.

What if I told you your country help create lies as well about us American brothers and sisters...

Why act as if your better or know everything about us

That is the issue we all must understand. Many not all of them think they are better or on another level than American brothers and sisters.

Precisely. I'm not excluding anyone but I've seen far to many Afrikan and Caribbean brothers and sisters quickly distance themselves from american Black Unity when the shit hits the fan.

I am and always have been for Black Unity but I'm also wise enough to know we must get our own house in order first. It's about priorities.

And again, I loath the Black By Convenience narrative.
