I tried to get tickets for tomorrow at the theater closest to me and they were all accounted for except for the front row. I stopped checking for times and just decided to go to the theater a little further away with no assigned seats

I don't know about that. The worst films of the year seem to come out in February and January. Those are usually the throw away months for studios.

What I don't get about these projections is how do they know how many people will or won't see this more than once? Is this like the floor of what they can do and not the ceiling?

Only the gross matters, multiple viewings aren't important

if there's a car chase or a fighter jet dogfight action sequence....your seat is gonna move and bank and careen with the car chase or fighter jet...almost like a 3D rollercoaster ride...

if there's a shootout...on screen...there's gonna be puffs of air comin' out of your chair...to simulate the bullets whizzin' past your head...

if there's an explosion...bright lights will flash in the theater....

if there's a fire...they'll pump smoke into the theater....

and they pump various scents into the theater...at various times...throughout the movie....like if a scene takes place in the forest...the pump into the theater the smell of flowers and so on...

Just got back, It was fie! Was gonna wait until crowds died down, but then I opened this thread ....and start looking for tix.

Shit was sold out here in Atlanta, especially Phipps with the loveseat recliners. Me & main went to AMC on I-85

Just got back in. Luxury seating, 3D on accident but it was fucking. AWESOME.

Never seen a super hero movie with that much heart. And the story dealt with our plight much more directly than I expected.

Fucking outstanding.

Yea, I really likes the parallels to the African American plight vs. Natural Africans.

And the dilemma of choosing to share valuable resources at risk of compromising kingdom vs. retain wealth of resources & security (keep home.. HOME!).

Start of movie reminded me of that tribe in the North Sentinel Islands, undisturbed for centuries by the modern world.
