Official NBA 2017-2018 Thread - Final day of the regular with playoff seating still unknown

Naw man even when he was in Dallas.....I liked him here. He was a young dude who just needed more playing time but Carlislie wouldn't give him any regardless of him balling. And this seems to be at every stop. The guy can score. No doubt about that. He's proven he can score in any system. Houston's system is a good fit for his skill set but it has to be more to why he can't stay on a team.

Fuck Carlisle

roberson's injury caught up already with okc. can understand the nuggets but this game and that wizards game without john wall was just bad. now they gotta play the warriors next....smh

So I was peeping the new Power Rankings and of course I read the Nuggets and it says the Nuggets have the most wins in the regular season against the Warriors in the last 3 seasons with..........4. A measly 4?!?! Got damn:lol: Teams are not even beating them twice in one season.

Report: Tyler Zeller Traded to Bucks; Nets to Receive Rashad Vaughn, Draft Pick
JOSEPH ZUCKER
FEBRUARY 05, 2018

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired veteran center Tyler Zeller from the Brooklyn Nets for Rashad Vaughn and a future second-round draft pick, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday.

Zeller is averaging 7.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.5 blocks through 42 games this season.

Vaughn has appeared in 22 games for the Bucks, averaging 2.7 points per game, and he's shooting 37.1 percent from beyond the three-point arc.

According to Wojnarowski, the second-round pick is protected between the 31st and 47th overall selections and will go to the Nets in 2020 if Brooklyn doesn't receive it this summer.

Both Milwaukee and Brooklyn can walk away happy from the trade.

The Bucks get some size inside. According to NBA.com, they rank 17th in defending shots inside six feet and 16th in defending inside 10 feet.

The 7-foot, 250-pound Zeller is also a better scorer in the paint than new teammate Thon Maker, who's shooting 39.4 percent from the field in his second season. Zeller, on the other hand, is hitting 54.6 percent of his attempts.

For the Nets, flipping Zeller for a second-round pick is more than enough to justify the deal. Zeller's departure also allows both Jarrett Allen and Jahlil Okafor to get more playing time. Allen, 19, and Okafor, 22, figure to be more likely a part of the team's long-term plans than the 28-year-old Zeller.

In particular, Brooklyn will have an opportunity to see whether Okafor is worth re-signing in the summer. The third-year center has averaged 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds since arriving from the Philadelphia 76ers.

He’s athletic. We’re probably gonna lose Joe in free agency

Joe says he wants to stay but he'll get an offer for more than we're willing to pay. McGaw plays defense for sure and he's young but we just got Rashad. Seems redundant but fuck it

How do y'all feel about this potential trade?

I don't know anything about Joe Harris to be honest but McCaw has shit in the bed. He's supposed to take a step forward and he hasn't. He has an easy ass job playing spot minutes, 2nd unity and such and for whatever reason he's just not doing it
I don't know if you give up on him yet but he hasn't gained any favor with his play all year really

Well damn, that's not encouraging. Has he whole game regressed or is it he hasn't shown anything offensively.

Harris can play and probably become your third or fourth best shooter

Alright that's what we need.
His whole game has regressed. He's timid. He has all the tools he really does he just don't play like he does. He was cemented in the regular rotation and then now he's in there for garbage time really.
Obviously don't need starters but serviceable back ups to run the offense with the 2nd units that start the 2nd and 4th quarter and play half the quarter on a normal night to maintain or hold off regular shit.

Yeah... I don't even want this trade no more fam:lol:

He's got all the tools it honestly is just a case of he's on the court with some big time players and defers too much if he was on the nets he'd probably kill it cause he'd feel like nobody is clearly above him in the pecking order

Well that's the wrong mentality. He'll be humbled even more if he brings that too the Nets cause you gotta earn your minutes. Shit Okafor barely plays

He plays hard man he won't be humbled cause he won't feel like he needs to pass to d'angelo russell the same way he'd feel like he better pass it to kevin durant.
