Gerald Green is only good when the there are no expectation levels on his play. The last few seasons he was pretty useless. In Miami they had some expectation for him and he let the Miami night life get to him and couldn't produce. In Boston he was expected to produce but couldn't and was pretty much buried on the bench.
Dantoni's system is what has him looking like this and that Houston doesn't need him to play well... he thrives in that position like he was doing in Phoenix.

Naw man even when he was in Dallas.....I liked him here. He was a young dude who just needed more playing time but Carlislie wouldn't give him any regardless of him balling. And this seems to be at every stop. The guy can score. No doubt about that. He's proven he can score in any system. Houston's system is a good fit for his skill set but it has to be more to why he can't stay on a team.

It's because he isn't consistent. When he was on bad teams... he was able to do more because the team itself wasn't very good and they had no expectations. He was brought to Miami to produce and couldn't and started partying and then also got into a fight and rumored to be sick off of some drugs he took. He was missing for like 4 games and then I think the team suspended him once he got better.
Gerald Green is a shorter Michael Beasley. Both are talented and at times can look like all-stars but they always revert back to inconsistent. You don't play on as many teams as they have and not have that reputation. Every year both seem to be a new team or out of the league for long stretches.
They cant play the Heat every nite.

Out of the rotation and clearly out of Minnesota Timberwolves president and coach Tom Thibodeau's plans, guard Shabazz Muhammad has requested to the franchise that it move or waive him before Thursday's NBA trade deadline, league sources told ESPN.
Muhammad's representatives recently made the request to the Timberwolves front office, league sources said.
Players and agents are forbidden under rules in the collective bargaining agreement to publicly state a wish for a trade without incurring a financial fine, but they are allowed to make those requests privately to the team.
Muhammad re-signed with the Timberwolves last offseason with hopes of a substantial bench role, only to find Thibodeau reverting to the longstanding practices of shorter bench rotations and heavy starter minutes that became a staple of his five years as Chicago Bulls coach.
Muhammad, 25, has been benched with DNP's in 23 of the team's past 32 games, averaging 9.7 minutes per game.
After several conversations with Thibodeau and contact with owner Glen Taylor in the summer, Muhammad, the 14th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft, returned to Minnesota on a two-year deal with a player option. He had a belief that keeping his Bird Rights with the franchise would pay off in free agency in the summer of 2018, if he indeed declined the player option on next year's $1.8 million salary and become an unrestricted free agent.
Now, it appears that Muhammad is completely out of the franchise's plans, all but eliminating the Timberwolves as a possibility to re-sign him in July.
Minnesota is 33-22 entering Saturday night's game against the New Orleans Pelicans and holding onto the fourth seed in the Western Conference playoff race. In his fifth season with the Timberwolves, Muhammad has dropped to 9.6 minutes and 3.7 points per game. He averaged 9.9, 10.5 and 13.5 points a game in his past three seasons, respectively.
Another player who signed with the Timberwolves as a free agent last summer, Jamal Crawford, has publicly expressed some surprise at the limited minutes he's played this season, especially based upon his conversations with the organization before committing to a two-year deal.

I'm sick of this dude he acts like he's a five time All Star,two time champion and etc. The only three people that have the right to open their mouths are Wade,Love and Bron.
This dude had one great season and acts like he can go on a new team proclaiming talking that way.
I didn't even finish the first quarter because I saw him jack up a three pointer,when he had two people waiting in the paint on a fast break.
I find it funny the cavs started having internal issues when he started playing. Not only that,the offense had way more movement with Calderon as the starter. The offense is taking a hit because of him.
