50 Cent's Earned Millions Selling His Album for Bitcoin

50 Cent took a chance on bitcoin years before anyone knew what cryptocurrency even was ... and it's paid off more than 7 million times over.

Rewind to 2014 and 50's album, "Animal Ambition," when the rapper became the first to accept bitcoin -- which was then valued at around $662/bitcoin -- as payment for his work. We're told customers could get a copy of the album for just a fraction of a whole bitcoin.

Our sources say "Animal Ambition" pulled in about 700 bitcoin in sales ... over $400k. We're told the cryptocurrency sat dormant in his account for years.

Fast-forward to today -- when bitcoin's value has fluctuated between $10k and $12k per coin. Turns out 50 is a money genius ... sitting on anywhere between $7 million and $8.5 million.

The market has steadily declined over the last few weeks, so 50 might wanna think about unloading soon while the gettin's still good.

and I still dont know what that case was about..

but overall he winning he is one of the most successful rappers

Yea, in addition to the bankruptcy judgment he lost judgments against Rick Ross baby mom for the sextape fiasco and took another L against a headphone company he was in business with.

But like you said, hes successful overall.. Just needs to stop doing stupid shit that costs him bread.

50 is a bubble himself. His acting sucks, his music is become irrelevant and he talks about people like a bitch every chance he gets to remain in the public eye. 50 got heart, and hustles hard and for that, we commend him. If only he created something that stood the test of time.

Look at ALL of his endorsements, where are they now? Did they ever look good (Gunit clothing), or ever taste good? (Vitamin water). C'mon yall, get off his nuts.

He lost millions buying that Mike Tyson mansion here in CT.
After paying too much for it and renovating it he didn't recoup his "investment".
They turned it into a nursing home.

The guy who got famous for his 2003 album called "Get Rich or Die Tryin‍" has poked a lot of fun at his financial situation. But now U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ann M. Nevins is worried the rapper is being outright dishonest.

Since October, 50 Cent has posted several photographs on Instagram of him playing with cash. In one, he's in bed surrounded by dozens of stacks of $100 bills -- easily $50,000 in that picture alone.
