MILWAUKEE - A fan was escorted from his front row baseline seat for shouting obscenities at Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson.

The All-Star guard told ESPN that the fan called him a "b----."

"It was just unnecessary," Thompson told ESPN.

The incident happened midway through the fourth quarter at the BMO Harris Bradley Center when Thompson fell to the hardwood near the fan after being fouled.

While on the floor, the fan leaned over and began spewing expletives. Thompson was shocked and began calling attention to the fan's behavior.

David West and Shaun Livingston ran over to help Thompson up and they began jawing at the fan.

West told ESPN the fan shouted "F--- you b----. You m----- f-----." to Thompson.

"He was wild, man," West said.

Once ushers approached the fan, he claimed he didn't say anything, but he eventually left his seat without further incident.

Thompson finished with 12 points and five rebounds in 35 minutes of play.

Golden State defeated Milwaukee 108-94.

I'm sure he said way more than what they're letting on. They didn't even do much clearly you see the official heard it too and was like "I got it" and called for security

Klay fell a slide like two feet into the camera man. Dude gets up and stands over Klay and the cameraman and says what he says

If he stood up over dude then he needs to go. There is something to be said about players not being able to take insults and trash talk but physically standing up over a dude is a bitch ass move and you don't need to be at the game. A dude stand up over you, the first move is to shove that joker. We would have never heard the end of it if Klay did that. Also, they police these players so hard and scrutinize everything they do so its time to put some discipline on the fans too

I saw them barking at each other. But guys talk trash in this league all the time. I’m just kind of shocked some guys take it so personal. It’s like — it’s a man’s league. I’ve heard a lot of bad things on that court, but at the end of the day, it stays on the court. We’re all competitive people. Trash talk is a part of the game of basketball. It’s a part of any sport, especially this competitive.

Obviously people have feelings. People’s feelings get hurt if they’re called a bad word. I guess his feelings just got hurt.
