Sarcoidosis.. Anybody have any experience with the disease?

I have an Aunt and a cousin that have it. Both complain of constant respiratory issues. Aunt even have a piece of lung removed years ago.
Make sure person watched their lungs. No smoking f/u with pulmonologist regularly
It's what Dr House thinks everyone has in the first 15 minutes of an episode.

Not daily I don't think but there are bouts that my aunt deals with that lands her in the hospital more than a few times a year for sure.
Damn. At least I know what we will be dealing with as a family.

I was diagnosed with it in I think 2012. In my case it was a happy diagnosis, because originally they thought I had lymphoma from what was showing up on Xrays and CT scans. My case was/is not very serious thankfully, and pretty much the only problems have been a low white blood cell count (neutropenia) and the fact that chest Xrays cause a lymphoma scare. It was only even noticed because I was having periodic CT scans after an earlier serious pulmonary problem.
I'm not even sure if I still have it (last CT was 4 years ago) and I know it can sometimes go away on its own. I never had any eye issues like some do, and although I remember coughing a bit more than usual in the weeks before I was first diagnosed, that's not a problem anymore. Bernie Mac had a serious case of Sarcoidosis, and it was or was directly related to the cause of his death.
