I didn't compare football protest directly to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, I'm comparing your Do-Nothing Mindset to those who would have disagreed with the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Black and poor areas are known to be used as placement for environmentally hazardous businesses etc that affect long term health and quality of life.

Just because the open hostility etc is no longer expressed, (Before Trump was elected anyway)and the discrimination is no longer codified in law, the net affect of what they were trying to achieve via law still gets done.
