Fam its so frustrating is he could be a monster if he even tried to play defense. He literally stands there sometimes and watches his man drive ny him.... annoying as hellWell one more year and he’s done in the league unless he shapes up now
Exactly man. Coaching is the bigger issue. How the fuck you gonna be mad at a kid for being who he was when you drafted him? The failure is on the organization.Man he can fit in someone’s system.. shit Greg Monroe don’t shoot 3s either
So... you 'teach' and 'coach' a grown man work ethic and intensity?!?!?! Ok...Exactly man. Coaching is the bigger issue. How the fuck you gonna be mad at a kid for being who he was when you drafted him? The failure is on the organization.
A few pretzels and Philly Cheesesteaks. Dude ain't shit. What do you think the organization wants for him?
Grown man? He was a fucking kid. Him being 6'10 275 doesnt make him any less a teenager bro. And yes, you coach work ethic and intensity... thats part of coaching. That and player development. Notice the team doesnt develop talent. Thats why they continue to be shit despite drafting high the last decade. You guys lucked up on cant miss (albeit injury prone) talent like Embiid and then tanked again for cat miss prospect Simmons... Any player needing actual development will be fucked and shipped out. Im concerned about what happens to Fultz.So... you 'teach' and 'coach' a grown man work ethic and intensity?!?!?! Ok...![]()

When the Heat picked up Whiteside he wasn’t the player he is now.. The organization saw the potential and worked on it.. no different than drafting a talent and developing them into AllstarsSo... you 'teach' and 'coach' a grown man work ethic and intensity?!?!?! Ok...![]()
It really isn't. He was the best pick at that time. It's real easy to me a Monday morning quarterback Bruh, but go back to that draft and tell me a better pick at that time. Whiteside is one player and his track record of hard work to finally get to the point he was has nothing to do with the Heat as an organization, if it did, there would be other players they developed into superstars. When the Heat picked up Whiteside he wasn’t the player he is now.. Okafor lack of defense is a failure on the organization to recognize that before they drafted him.. but sure they knew that aspect and still took him anyway
Monroe is on the bench partially because he’s not a good defender but also because of Giannis. Greg Monroe is only and issue to a defense 15 feet and in. He’s just in Giannis way on the offensive end in half court sets.Greg Monroe is also on the bench with Milwaukee.
and they would trade him if they could

Man, that young niggas prefrontal cortex still got 2 yrs to actually fully develop. He's not a grown man.
He's a very talented, semi-slow moving, lazy, and emotionally broken young man who's still haunted by the loss of his mom.
The NBA, more concerningly 76ers, need better fucking sports psychologists on their payroll...
Yea.. moms passing has nothing to do with it. Just a bad organzation that didnt develop him or put him in an environment conducive to learning or being a professional. They were too concerned in drafting a bunch of young guys and tanking. Bad coaching and no vet leadership in locker room.So.. his bad play is primarily due to his mothers death 10 years ago? He rose to become arguably the best player in the country in HS, as well as college, and 'now', all of a sudden his play is based on his moms death? Didn't affect him much on the court at all until now? That actually makes sense Bruh, thanks for clearing that up....
I wish nothing but the best for the young cat, however I look forward to the day he gets his act together when his semi-slow moving, lazy ass is on another team...

I think Okafor will be ok once he’s traded. Some coaches want a traditional big man that can cause a defense to sag in the paint. I think analytics will kill his career if he lets them. Haven’t seen much of him playing but him and Towns are the same defensively lol.
Greg Monroe is also on the bench with Milwaukee.

I’m aware, but they play on the same team. Maker is a big that can stretch a defense. Monroe doesn’t have that ability which is why Maker has been starting and is usually on the floor when Giannis is on the floor.Greg Monroe and Giannis don't play the same position![]()
No, not at all what I said or my words, but it has everything to do with the way he internalized losses and criticism. Read incorrectly all you want into my words, but what's happened with his failure in Philly largely deals with the fact that most people (let alone pro athletes) have trouble with dealing with failure after experiencing nothing but success their whole careers. Now, attach the emotional baggage he has with the passing of his mom and him being extremely introverted.
Couple that with the fact that with his immaturity and youth and yes, you have a problem that the organization should have managed better.
It's same with thinking that a two to three-day course of financial management will make a pro athlete 17- 22 yr old kid a successful financial planner. Shit is doomed to fail from the beginning...
Makes sense

Did you assume my initial reply was me disagreeing with you?So you said all of this to agree with what I said originally![]()
