uper Mario Odyssey is the Nintendo Switch’s other big exclusive this year – is it going to get as highly-rated as Breath of the Wild?

Reviews for Super Mario Odyssey have started popping up. Odyssey is the first Mario game on the Nintendo Switch, and it brings back the style of 3D platforming seen in Super Mario 64, and Super Mario 3D World to a lesser extent.

Much like those games, you’ll be visiting different worlds, each with its own unique enemies and designs. The main new feature in Odyssey is Mario’s hat, Cappy. The hat allows Mario to “capture” other creatures, taking control over them.

Super Mario Odyssey actually had one review before today’s embargo. Edge magazine gave the game a ten out of ten, and it’s looking like this score won’t be an outlier. Our very own Alex reckons we have another masterpiece.

It is exactly like a South Park episode. You can not tell it’s a game at all. I have no clue how they did it.

There is a massive learning curve. It’s a game that demands a fucking instruction book because you get thrown in without any hints. I still don’t technically know what I’m doing and I’ve put in about 15 hours.

Call of duty breh u 4 real? i had my last with cod. I played battlefield and me having to go on a predetermined path had me like foget it.

Im looking to copp Resident evil 7 used hopefully somewhere. Im waiting to copp the evil within via black friday. I bought cuphead and didn't play it yet. Im hoping to come up on blu rays to add to the collection.

That Planet Earth 2 4k is still 34 bucks. Im like when i drop 34 i know i'll find it a bit cheaper just like i did xbox. I copped xbox special for 500 and the store had the same joint for 299 and some games later in the year. I wish we had that crying Jordan meme i was on that when i saw the price.
