Nobody expected the defense to be good this year. The only difference in this year's team and last year's team is a weaker offensive line and time of possession.

Cowboys are possessing the ball as long, and not converting as many 3rd downs. Garrett is 80% of the problem, Marinelli has no healthy Pro Bowlers on defense. He has 3 rookie corners, and a second year safety and a no-name defensive line. Sean Lee is the best defender on the team, without a doubt.

Season is not over, because a lot of teams are getting hurt up. Skins game is a must win at this point for any shot at winning the division, and that will be a very tough game.

Maranelli sat in that prevent yet again and watched Aaron tear it apart....again. He got youth over there....I'm not even mad at the Tds they gave up....except that Nelson one....that was unacceptable.

Im not sure how you saw Dak outplay Aaron the last 2 games.

Not selective outrage at all. There are multiple layers to Jerry's bullshit which is the difference.

The NBA pit out their memo, there have not been any protest they are quelling, and said they would look into discipline if it happened. Nothing etched in stone. A pre-emptive strike, but not action has been stated.

Jerry, orchestrated a counter protest they served two purposes:
1. It bailed out and silenced the critics of trumps statement (notice people aren't talking about trumps remarks anymore)
2. It completely undermined Kap's protest by offering a CAC approved alternative which now puts us on the defensive, essentially ending the protest as we know it
3. He doubled down by making a direct threat to his players with his 'punishment' defined, basically DARING them to disobey him

Not the same thing as Silver, and IF we get the issue where a player protests and the League fucks with them, then we have a point of reference to go after.

With Jerry, we have at LEAST 3, and the last one is very Jim Crow like... Slave Master publicly putting his 'Slaves' in line. Not the the same thing Bruh.

The difference is what Silver said which was a strong suggestion with no defined consequence vs what Jerry DID, quell a protest, deflect purpose AND THEN publicly threaten his players and take away their constitutional rights if they aren't willing to fight for them.
