Basically anything on that strip between 430 and 7 is gonna be cheap.
Same with bars in Adams Morgan.
Take the metro. Parking will be a Bitch on a Fri afternoon/night.
I gotta try Lincoln waffles.
...its basically a no-frills breakfast spot, but damn good. It will be a must visit on future trips to DC..

Nice lounge or rooftop to take a pyt to? Somewhere near U street?
I went to DNV rooftop on 14st street not a bad rooftop at all. They got a few cabanas,pool,nice little bar and good views of the city. Drinks are about mid-range prices. Asian flavor over there too. Nice mix of women. drunk girl kept trying to sit on my lap LOL. good time that night.
Hit Barcelona on 14th St. last night. They don't have a rooftop but if you can land outdoor seating.....its a winner especially if you're with a chick! Very nice ambiance and its quieter than the inside which is usually bustling! Also went to Masa 14. Didn't go up to the rooftop though.
Any last minute tips? i heading out there next week... and plan to pop the question to my lady.

Always crowded. Game floor is smaller than Live Casino in Arundel Mills. It's nice though.
Yeah the mgm is nice. I was there super bowl night. they have a nice sports bar called Tap sports bar. Really nice spot. Also the gaming floor is nice but my man is right maryland live is bigger but mgm is nicer probably because its new. They have a few higher end restaurants in there i gotta check out. They have the national market area which cool cause you can get shake shack or papa crab cakes. My friend said the rooms and the beds are top notch i havent stayed there yet.

Been to Ben's Chili Bowl before. Decent food. Might be a bit of a wait. It's really more the experience of going there than the actual food.

Ben's Chili Bowl food is terrible.
People go there just to say they went but the chili is like seasoned dog food.
Just go to Ben's Next Door and take photos outside.

Thursday happy hour Park at Fourteenth usually has a good crowd with good food and drinks specials. Friday or Saturday night on U street and the 14th street corridor is filled with wins. Just depends on the kind of crowd you want. I usually just book chicks going from spot to spot.
