An Incredibly long time. But also, he was depressed because his dreams were dead.

Yeah, there are times I'm reminded that the writers room is female driven and that was one of them. No fucking way you have this dude as emo as he's been the last couple episodes and then he's in the apartment reminiscing while waiting on her so he can apologize for being upset that she fucked another nigga while they were together. In the situation, I can understand an "I still love you too... but, I can never be with you. I'm sorry" and he leaves on that note, but him pouring his heart out first and sharing blame? Fam... she FUCKED another nigga while you were with her. You only found out because you were both at her fundraiser

IMO, they're both getting what they deserve in the end (Issa with Daniel, and Molly with Dro) cause they're not ready for fucking growth and to actually deal with their shit. This is where women would start pouring themselves into their jobs or other shit and just leave the men be. It's, like, they can't imagine being without either of those guys but, in reality, it IS better being without either of those guys. She'd rather be Dro's little secret then the established brotha who is a lawyer with his shit together but he's a big boy? I don't knowwwwww!!!! There was a message in there somewhere that they missed or didn't deliver.

Lawrence still loves Issa or has love for her. His insecurities and listening to his friends kind of really fucked things up with the work buddy but also it's why he shouldn't have fucked with her heavy in the first place.
That fantasy shit at the end was real as fuck and made me kinda happy to be honest like wow I'd kinda like that despite everything I said during the season
and then real life hit.

By the time Lawrence moved out he wasn't broke he had a good job.
He stayed with his friend cause he was hurt not cause he couldn't afford a place. As soon as he got some get up he found his spot like that.. Issa the one that got demoted and didn't get the promotion and got gentrified.

I thought this point was made.And I really like how they that was written.
For the looks I thought it was obvious because they were complete opposites in height and physical shape. The added thing is that Dro was much more assertive in their interactions while the lawyer was acting like he was nervous. Molly was forcing the attraction so likely wouldn't find the sex as good.

I'm really impressed with the writing but IMO it was real unrealistic for a dude to open his heart like that when she was the one caught cheating.Our egos just wouldn't let us.
