Coulter Has A Point With DACA

I wouldn't get caught up in the messenger. DACA is not a black agenda.

The messenger matters. I'm honestly shocked that BGOL is so toothless these days when it comes to dudes like this.

To your point...DACA isn't a "black" issue but the plan to kill it is pretty much a "white supremacist" one. Its also a ridiculous boondoggle that will line the pockets of private prisons and cost us BILLIONS as Americans. Pretending that ignoring this stuff makes one Malcolm X is incredibly stupid... especially given that anything which empowers prison corps will likely have negative consequences for black folks downstream as well. Its just all so fucking dumb.

Why are we fighting for third world people to come here legally/illegaly when we got third world conditions in our own community's? We have other issues to worry about. This is nothing more than the falsification of African consciousness, as Amos Wilson would say. White people telling us to save someone else and we need saving. Telling us what should be important to our condition as black people. The sad part is because most think they understand racism white supremacy they grab the DACA ball and run with it.

Do you all know why black coders have a hard time getting jobs in Silicon Valley? The visa program. Unqualified low wage foreigners take the positions over qualified blacks. Do you know why it's so hard for us to break into the skilled trades field? Companies higher Asians to do siding, Mexicans to do roofing, Russians to do dry wall and inside work and meanwhile you can't get a walk on entry level job on a site let alone find work at union wages. The immigration system is working fine. It's keeping you out the work force.

I'm just can't get on board man. If they want rights let them fight for them. Who are the mexican civil rights leaders? And bottom line is illegals drive down wages for entry level positions for blacks. BGOL has seen better days though....

White people want to keep their cheap labor. US immigration policy has been the same for the past 40 years, no amnesty, cheap labor. Somehow they trying to convince the descendants of slaves to fight for foreigners rights to compete with us. get the fuck out of here.

thats the thing it used to be cheap, a lot of the skilled workers are demanding more and more...

and the truth is even though they may pay taxes, they still send the bulk of their money out the country..

where as the average middle class american worker especially in the inner city keeps money that dollar circulating in this economy...

personally I dont give a rats ass if a worker from another country can come here and make some money I aint one to stop them...

I just hope they have the same attitudes when they go back to their countries and people from other places go their looking for work...

for example the dominicans that come here to make money, but get mad at hatians in their country....

the italians that come here to make money but get mad at the africans that are in their country tryin to eat...

got a lot of hypocritical immigrants...and they need to check themselves

along with the lazy redneck fucker who thinks miquel is the reason he dont work at enron anymore...

I agree. My problem, fundamentally, is that descendants of slaves and illegals are lumped into the same category. It's not the same. If an illegal gets accused of a crime they just put him on a plane to his home country and wait for him to come back. If the descendants of slaves commit a crime they not putting you on no plane...

well there is no comparison mostly because...

the decesendants of slaves didnt ask to be bought here,

they didnt come seeking a better life...

they were forced here in fact they are the only americans

that were forced to come here...

that makes us the most unique americans...

there is no comparison to any other race..

america needed us to excel.. we didnt need them....

no other immigrant can say that...

That line comes from a debate that she had a while back with Ann Kasparian, stating that a lot of immigrants benefited from civil right laws that were intended for blacks peoples.

immigrants didn't benefit from laws "that were intended for blacks peoples." that would imply that ONLY black people suffered from racism if that were the case then the title CIVIL RIGHTS march is inaccurate. Black people were the most vocal but the struggle was for fair treatment across the board.

The idea of laws or programs "intended for blacks exclusively" is one of the trumped up reasons for hating on blacks and complaing about the condition of the black community...

here's a comment section statement I'm debating right now:

(This comment pertains to the idea of 1940s stats showing higher employment rates of blacks and higher stats of couple being together and fathers in the home..)

They (blacks) were doing pretty well at becoming like everyone else, until Johnson waged his so called war on poverty as a way of keeping black people in their places where they could show that they were as smart as whites. His statement to the world and nation was that the Black population wasn't smart enought to be able to take care of their own selves and families. The Democrats are at it again, telling them that they have been cheated by the White people aren't smart enough to compete with superior White people without special care and programs. This is in fact only another thing to keep Black people from realizing that with a few years of school and some determination they can be as well off as they really want to be!

Again the idea of exclusive programs that are supposed to for blacks ONLY yet others benefit from it.

Slavery, Jim Crow and Black Codes, Red Lining, Brown vs Board of Education, etc., must be a figment of my imagination...:hmm:

Silly me...

Tell me how Pepper Bellies overcame slavery and lynchings again? :hmm:

If blacks truly knew about the pass and about what is really going on all they would be mainly working for is total separation. Born in a whites man's world or a reality created by them and for them. They felt they had you beat from the beginning. Either become a carbon copy of them or else.

Did she really mean it the way you're taking it?? Could easily be interpreted as a slam against black people too. Seeing how it's Man Coulter I'd say she's dissin' both. :hmm:

LOL, definitely dissing both.

These "This ain't your America" black people need to assess why they draw the allies they do.

in any case...blacks weren't the only slaves in the mainland...native americans were enslaved as well do you think the abolishment of slavery ONLY pertained to blacks? The point being the idea that blacks seek only special treatment and laws for ourselves is cac projection...and fuck ann coulter

I wouldn't get caught up in the messenger. DACA is not a black agenda.

I think the point is much larger than the messenger. Your point is basically "DACA is not a black agenda because those crumbs are our crumbs" when the problem for 400 years has been European conquerors, not the conquered peoples. An agenda that is focused on justice uplifts all of those groups, whereas making allies with the white man's continued expulsion of one of those groups based on the notion that their prosperity and ascendancy can only come at the expense of blacks at the bottom rung of society only strengthens the structure keeping black people at the bottom rung. The black agenda's greatest strength lies in the fact that it is a just and a justice agenda.

This post was painful to read but... I can only guess at what it means...

The concept of the nation-state is older than any human construct devised.
Some might argue tribalism but tribalism was based on what tribe you were born in, thus not an entirely human construct but part biological.

Understanding the concept of the nation state should be the only answer to your apparent confusion...

I think I'm becoming too mature for this board. You have this straight up nazi posting ridiculous alt right bullshit all fucking day and dumb niggas are eating it up without so much as a word in protest. :smh:

Believing that supporting or remaining silent about a xenophobic CAC agenda is ultimately "positive" for black folks lays the wickedness of this entire system bare.... Essentially they have you fighting for crumbs without engaging with the socio-economic issues that undergird these anxieties in a meaningful way. It's incredibly retarded and more than a little disheartening. Humans suck.

I just checked your join date vs. the OP's. 2007 vs late 2015.

BGOL's membership is not what it was in 2007 by any means... Dudes like the OP aren't even on my radar (and sometimes I make the mistake of co-signing people who I shouldn't because their posts don't register in any sort of context for me). I reply to new people when a post is interesting but they generally blur together. I bet 75% of the people I really engage with registered before the start of this decade. (My registration is 2013 but many know I go back to the old BGOL.)

I'm just gonna say that I agree with Martin Luther King Jr about nationalism and disagree with you, Aldebaran. If you understand that, it will clear up the obvious confusion you had in questioning my understanding and I will accept your apology.

If your a black man in America and you made something of yourself under the current system then you have to face a harsh reality. You are not the rule, you are the exception. Your extraordinary. The odds and obstacles placed in your way from the womb up until high school graduation was intended for you not to succeed.

Please, please stop looking at others through your world view. You hit the lottery so you to speak. You where in the right circumstances to get where you are and for that you should be thankful. Not condescending and judgmental of those who didn't have your support system.

You can't make proper life decisions when you haven't been shown or told what those decisions should be. This is the reality of a large portion of children in our communities.

The odds and obstacles are intended to make it easy for you not to succeed. If you want to be the consummate victim and do nothing but play into their plan then you will end up where they want you. Especially today with the internet there is nothing they can do to keep you from the information.

The game hasn't changed and we know the rules as you so succinctly point out, yet we fail to get better at the game?

To be clear I was in no better situation than many. In fact I have faced obstacles that many haven't in that I have been charged, convicted and incarcerated. It would have been easy to charge it to them not letting me do anything..It took time and effort to get to where I have gotten which is a comfortable life. Nothing spectacular. Wow!
I'm not going to be apologizing any time soon, chappie. But I find it so disheartening that you are not only a poster that
lacks the ability to write a coherent post but possess that enviable trait: laziness.
Sad really...
So by your own logic, I am somehow tied to my user name and I cannot join again under another one? How does that work?
So, in your limited understanding of how anything works, let alone computers, it would be impossible for me to have had
previous names.
There goes your join date logic...
Next, let's talk about your laziness. You think I'm impressed by your checking of "join date", to once again, claim something based on a logical fallacy?

I would respect you more if you used a network packet sniffer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tcpdump) on BGOL and did some real investigations.

Son, you are out of your league responding to me, in any way, other than reverence.

That you responded to what I said to Sharkbait rather than what I said to you says all there is to say.

I never claimed every vet was great, every newbie was worthless or that I was the only vet with a later username. If you were worth knowing who you were, I think I would.

I respectfully disagree. Immigrants actually have a home country to go back to, children of slaves don't. Yes, we fought for and gained rights, but we on break right now. We gave immigrants Plessy v Ferguson, we gave gays Loving vs Virginia, we gave the Civil Rights movement, Martin, Malcolm, Affirmative Action, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Obama....we on break. If you want rights get your shit on your own.

...and now we're back to your laziness:smh:

Do you know how this forum works? You do know that there are multiple people "speaking" in this thread? There is a link named "Reply" where you direct your
post to a specific person that you are talking to. Sharkbait has been on ignore, so I cannot see anything she writes. So it looks like you were making an
arbitrary post.
Your laziness is mind numbing...:hmm:

Marcus Garvey = Jamaican the father of the civil Rights movement

Kool herc = Jamaican father of hip hop

Malcolm X= half Grenadian raise in the Garvey movement

Obama = son of Kenyan immigrant

Stockly Carmichael= Trinidadian , father of the black powder/black is beautiful movement and spiritual father of the black Panthers .

Should I go on ? Or you want to continue to not see the hills from the sky

Trust me they are not concerned at all about immigrants from third world countries. There is a trick and an illusion to every thing whites do. But here in America the only thing that will strength blacks is separation and a chance to at least think for our selves. That leaves the possibility for us to start becoming ourselves (God)

You cannot be serious!
Those men for the most part championed Pan Africanism. So the main idea in their thinking was that black people are all related and not
under the white man's definition of "nation".
We always refer to ourselves as brothers and sisters. What is Jamaican but an ex-colony of England? Hatian? Nigerian?

White people got some of us thinking we are "different" based on what crops our grandfathers picked for massa!

I agree with everything you said except the part about God.

To be God, you need to be able to do the thing of God.
I don't want to interject religion into this discussion but I want to share two points about The Most High.

Isaiah 46:10 (God Speaking)
Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.

Job 38:12 (God Speaking)
"Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, And caused the dawn to know its place,...?

The idea is God putting man in the right frame of mind. He was saying that you can never be Me!

It is all about being a man. Elijah Muhammad was right when he said that the black man is God. The things Jesus did all blacks could do that and more. We were born in an artificial world created by white for whites.
The master plan was about going under the control of whites (devils) for a little over 6 thousands years and then separating and getting our true identity back and our original natural powers back and taking the earth back from Satan (whites)

Either there is a system of oppression in all areas of human activity designed to set up road blocks for black people called racism white supremacy or there isn't. Now if there is then your argument is mute. If their isn't then we as black people are inferior. What say you?

We can stop this debate right now.
