The thing I hated in 17 was how they removed restrictions in My team. I didn't start playing My team until late like May. By then everyone has a stacked team and using diamond cards in the early seeds. In 17 you had to be in like the 5th seed to have a unrestricted line-up.

Also the substitution menu and quick play calling. I can't tell you how to call a quick isolation.

They removed the excessive dribble moves. Only elite ball handlers will be able to be "dribble gods". So those sharp shooters and two way wings wont be doing all that bull shit anymore.

I just want a realistic game exhibition and season for my team . I buy every year.

Giving a my player a Lebron Frame /Dunk Package with a Steph Curry or Ray Allen ran with purple hair makes the game corny.

Watching 82 games plus of basketball i see Kylie Korver, Lebron and others telegraph passes. Can they fix that please? I don't give a damn about in game currency.

They added a new pass system. If you hold down the pass button it will pass to the player farthest away. Chris Smoove talked about the gameplay feedback articles.

That's what im saying. Whatever your skillset is on the court from starter to last bench guy highlight that.
Heck id go on the road and help mo cap all players from all 28 teams to get their dribbling, dunk, defensive animation down. I think its half ass that u bring in 2 or 3 guys durning the summer.

If u can capture the stadiums and shoes why can't you capture shooting and freethrow form, dribbling animations and defensive stances for every player?

Agreed. All sports games should at least go to a every other year release. I personally have not brought a sports game since 2008. It is a waste to drop $60+ a year on a game that only changes a little from year to year.

I have all the badges, everything about maxed out, got the boosts, all that shit. Made like 20 different custom jumpshots. No matter if I shot the shit with the button, or the stick, if I fill the bar, or release at the top of the shot - there was just so many shots I should've made that they would not give me.

Meanwhile, these cheeseball Youtube niggas can hit contested 30 footers like it's nothing and in the same game, they have niggas missing wide open mid-range shots and lay-ups. Can't hit shots my nigga was designed to make with the archetype bullshit.

And it didn't help that 2K always fucked with shooting sliders with the weekly updates. My jumper could be wet AF one day, and then the next time I play the muthafucka, I can't hit shit.

That's the only reason I'm willing to buy 2K18, just to move on from this trash ass shooting system.

2K17 is easily the worst 2K of the decade.

I some point there was a update for shooting that made shooting go to shit. You will probably get a better shooting % if you use the stick.

I would suggest 2K16. You can get it for cheap now. The shooting and the dribbling were better. You're likely to dribble off someone's leg and loose the ball in 2K17. There's a my career story written by Spike Lee also you may enjoy "story wise".
