The source is from a white source. Root is owned by white folks. This goes back to black folks working for white folks to tear him down. This clown tried to get out in front of the fact that Umar does indeed have a doctorate. No more. No less. If he could have continued the slander shit he would have. Just like the countless black folks who now can't use his degree as a rock to throw but will continue to claim financial mismanagement when they themselves 1) never donated and 2) never saw any proof saying he mismanaged funds donated.

Everyone all of a sudden knows what goes into starting and running a PRIVATE non state funded school but I can count on one hand how many of those black schools are currently up and running. They know the financial breakdown it takes to start and run it. They know the manpower necessary to start and run it. Most of all they don't know shit about starting and running a PRIVATE non state funded school.

Instead of admitting they didn't donate and have no skin in the game and simply sitting back and watching they have to do what old heads like myself called sideline Jeffing. Talking would have, could have should have bull shit and they ain't gonna do, ain't finna do and can't fucking do shit but sit their cheer leading assess on the side lines second guessing the dudes in the game.

Until you suit up and tighten your chin strap your just going to continue carrying jock straps for can't do, won't do and ain't did shit mother fuckas.

If you got a better idea then put that grass roots work in. If not don't get in the way of those already doing it.

I don't understand why his website doesn't have this clearly documented to shut down these attacks. It's like he wants the constant attention on this resume instead his education initiatives.

LOL, actually it might not even be that malicious but the results will be the same. His idea of how he wants to make some school is disastrous and the complete lack of planning exacerbates that. He's already shown that even though he has some intelligence in some areas he is completely mental in others.

Yeah they do. People did it to Dr Phil, and people are CONSTANTLY on the Dr Oz for scamming people into buying their products. That's just two famous examples. Quack Drs are constantly being exposed and put under scrutiny for different things. That's part of the process for people getting praise they deserve when they do get it. Or scandal when they deserve that.

That's such a lazy and lame line of reasoning to get mad at someone for fact checking. If anything it would make the guy stronger by showing proper response. The people he is claiming to wanna help would NEED a person who can stand up to heavy scrutiny.

What basis do you have to call him a fraud other than the fact you don't like him for whatever reason? I know he is hard on gays, whites and interracial relationships and a lot of you guys are hurt by that, but I have seen no evidence of fraud.

He provided his credentials but thats still not good enough and once he provides you with all his plans for the school you never donated to, and actually opens the school, what will your basis for the hate be then?

Are you referring to his school credentials?

If so, he did an interview with Vlad explaining why.

Out of respect for his alma mater, he doesn't mention them because those institutions may not or don't correlate with his views.

And that makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

From my perspective, if there exists something that is "the" issue - it would be his overall lack of transparency.

And that would center around questions regarding his promised school for which he has now for 7 years been collecting money.

For example, why he has shut down and cut off Black folks who want to know details about the project? Why the secretiveness and hostility regarding details about it?

This is what causes people to ask questions about things like, "is the man really a PhD?" "Is he who he claims to be?"

I will grant you that in THIS the thread that might be the case. But I'd wager that for many in this thread who are skeptical, the roots of the skepticism with which they entered this thread can be found in Dr. Umar's track record of lack of transparency.

The question of his being who he says he is comes from people wanting to know if this is someone they should trust with their money. As well, it is relevant regarding what qualifies one to start a school.

One should not have to rely purely on word of mouth for any of the above.

I'd wager even more it's the lack of transparency of his skin tone.

More importantly the accumulation of melanin is a bigger issue than contributions.
