Completely agree... I just want the man in something. That Mike Tyson flick shows that the brother has range for days. It's just fucked up that he came out too soon. If he came out right now... dude would be legendary. But back then.. they weren't giving AAA level parts to minorities in action movies. I think he was hurt by people seeing him as the brother that can do martial arts that isn't Wesley Snipes. And Wesley got all of the Black martial arts movie roles.
Even though Michael Jai is older I still don't get why he isn't in all kinds of shit. Like... Why doesn't he do voice over roles. Dude has a menacing voice. He should be in all kinds of shit. I just don't get.. Why the best that he can do is Black Dynamite.
Hell the blackballing of Michael Jai White almost deserves its own thread. It doesn't make any gawd damn sense to me.
At least Wesley had a time where he was one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. Michael has always been treated as a B-listed even though he clearly has A-list talent for days.

He did get injured... he shot this movie between Oct and September of last year.. and when he got injury.. Fox completely shut down production on the Maze runner. They had set Feb of this year to resume production. So he shot films when he was able too while waiting for Maze Runner to start up.
But yeah I do feel your pain.. Maze Runner is my surprise film franchise. I never thought that I'd love it as much as I do.

Dont sleep...Michael Keaton is an excellent actor..he's prob the best "actor" as Batman...(not saying the best actor to play Batman..that would be George Clooney, he was terrible as Batman though, almost cartoonish...
