[Discussion Thread]... this might b the last transformers...only 45 Mill weekend

I'll check it out, I'm still a die hard fan, my favorite one was Dark of the Moon. My least favorite was Age of Extinction, too damn long.

I don't know why they didn't do a unicron
Installment

I think thats where theyre going if that mid-ending credits scene is any indication..
Same deal with Transformers Prime-Unicron IS Earth

Transformers: The Last Knight’ Rises To $93M In China – International Box Office

http://deadline.com/2017/06/transfo...ffice-opening-international-china-1202119014/

and as expected Paramount probably going to Bay's house like :money::money::money::money::rolleyes:

Earth was Unicron in the movie.:smh: Some ol bullllllsheeiit. It sucked ass. Hard. The robot who served Hannibal Leckter was cool though.

Yea so another one is in the making because of the end of credit scene...

I don't see why its so hard to follow the cartoons and use those characters from generation 1 & 2 instead of these made up motherfuvkers.

The movie was long, rushed, and too much humans save the day shit.

The little girl was unnecessary, sexualized, and a Hispanic throw in.

The black kid was useless comic relief and predictably scary.

They made Hot Rod French and stereotypically a hot to trot chauvinist.

They made a point to call females "bro"

Wasted screen time trying to explain why Marky Marks daughter wasn't in the movie.

Made the great Anthony Hopkins a throwaway character who won't be returning.

The terraforming machine was basically a big rake or plow. I didn't see how that would cool the Earths core and microwave everything on the surface.

Sexualized how..?

Hot Rod speaking French was Bay's idea of course..:smh: and he was voiced by dude who played Bishop in XMen Days Of Future Past

I'll just copy/paste what I wrote in the BGOL movies forum...

I just finished watching this
I can't do anything but just shake my head
What da fuck did I just watch ???

The editing & pacing for this movie is terrible
Shit reminded me of Batman/Superman, where they just crammed a whole bunch of shit in
The scenes & locations just jumped around with no flow to it at all
Plus the typical corny Michael Bay jokes, where the characters are arguing back & forth about dumb shit

:smh::smh::smh:

It cost like $250 to make so with international it will make that

It's going to drop big next week, they will do well because of the Wednesday release...but it's not breaking 175 here

but with the reviews I can't see Bay being involved again

Once Spiderman comes out...its wrap for Transformers

And the final battle scene when he swooped down, shot some bullets, then took off again

The single best scene in the entire series. I remember jumping out of my seat like a little kid when I saw that! I re-watch that scene every once in a while just for the sound... Amazing... Starts at the 16 second mark. Even the way the scene is shot from the ground level, looking up is incredible!

Hell yea man
Starscream was bad ass in that 1st movie
The camera angle looking up, when he took off & transformed was on point

I remember this in theaters and this guy and I high fived and cheered. We were kids again.

That whole entire scene was epic
When the Autobots crashed down to earth, & met in that alley
Even the background music was on point throughout the whole entire movie
Check the 2:45 minute mark.....

I was in the theater eating my popcorn, lookin like Steph Curry...

I've been calling this movie The Adventures of Cade Yeager 2" for months now. I already know the formula: too much people drama, not enough robot drama." They've lured me one time too many, and have been selling "evil Optimus" for way too long now for me to care. No more theater seat buys for me. I'll catch this when I catch this, probably in a room full of friends I can appropriately rip it to pieces with in real time.

But it'll probably make just enough cash to warrant the franchise continuing on.

I know this is supposed to be a Transformers 5 thread, but fuck it.....
That Bonecrusher vs Optimus Prime car cash scene
Bonecrusher skating down the highway on his wheels
Prime was like nah homie, I ain't the one to be fucked with.....

What's funny is everyone talks about how they loved the first movie, but everyone complained they couldn't tell who was fighting when the they went one on one. Me personally I could tell. I never understood that complaint

final numbers r in ....
