2016-2017 NBA Playoffs is finally here..Spurs vs Dubs (0-4), Cavs vs Celtics(4-1)

Only people who follows that logic are stupid sports casters who work for ESPN, those are the dopes who started the ring argument, and stupid, non thinking fools blindly followed that dumb shit with out thinking..

Listen man. To be the best you gotta beat the best. Do you think Jordan was gonna stop til he reached 6 rings? Fuck no. He was determined to pass Magic because he knew that was the only way people would consider him the GOAT. If LeBron wants to be the best he needs at least 7 rings.

Do rings really matter?

Dude seem shocked when they told him Lebron was top 3 in MVP

When folks argue which is the better team then you can use that logic, but assuming that the best players only play on the best team is flawed if that were the case the number one draft pick for every sport would come from the team that won the championship.
So take that flawed ESPN white boy logic and shove it.

So Isiah Thomas is out for the rest of the playoffs and Kawhi Leonard isn't playing tonight ??? these playoffs have been dull as fuck ...hopefully the finals will make up for it

Exactly. Horry has 7 rings, are cats gonna argue that he's better than Jordan and Kobe. Its a stupid argument.

oh it's happened...I remember a debate where cats was seriously tryna argue horry was better than karl malone cuz he had more rings

Celtics to be without Isaiah Thomas (hip) for rest of playoffs
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19426266/isaiah-thomas-boston-celtics-miss-rest-playoffs

Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas will miss the remainder of the postseason after aggravating a right hip injury during Friday's Game 2 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Celtics announced Saturday that Thomas suffered a "re-aggravation of a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear" during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals.
Thomas initially injured the hip March 15 against Minnesota and missed the next two games. He aggravated the injury in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Washington Wizards last week.

He sat out the second half of Game 2 vs. Cleveland due to what the team called a hip strain. He missed all six of his field goal attempts and scored just two points in 18 minutes of a 130-86 blowout loss.

"Isaiah has worked tirelessly to manage this injury since it first occurred," Celtics team physician Dr. Brian McKeon said in a statement. "The swelling increased during the first two games against Cleveland, and in order to avoid more significant long-term damage to his hip, we could no longer allow him to continue.

The Celtics said Thomas did not accompany the team to Cleveland in advance of Sunday's Game 3. He is evaluating treatment options.

wonder if the celts really made the call or he did...can't help but feel either he's quitting on the organization or they're quitting on him

Thoae teams were not close to this dominant in the playoffs
It was better comp in those playoffs

To say the Cavs are dominate against inferior teams now is crazy.. yo these teams now are not even putting up a fight.. that shit is crazy

Pacers back then with West, George, Lance, Hill, Hubert etc
Celtics with PP, Garnett, Ray Allen etc

So Isiah Thomas is out for the rest of the playoffs and Kawhi Leonard isn't playing tonight ??? these playoffs have been dull as fuck ...hopefully the finals will make up for it

Yeah. playoffs been weak.. real chance both teams will come in undefeated to the finals..

in a pg heavy draft?

i dont think 1 50 point playoff game is enough to give the man the max contract

i hate boston and hope he gets it and takes them for all they have

but if he is getting that franchise money

he cant quit after 2 games

He's not really a PG.. he's just small. They'll draft a PG on and the offensive end he'll play the 2 and on defense he'll play 1... like how the Sixers did with AI and Eric Snow.

Playoffs are weak because of injuries. Clippers, Blazers, Jazz, Spurs, Raptors, Celtics, Bulls all been hit. Niggas need rest during the regular season. But thats bitch shit, so dont cry now. This is the product we wanted.

Patty Mills interview was heartfelt. It was intriguing hearing him speak on Aussie white supremacy towards his Aboriginal people.

I don't know why people keep saying these playoffs have been weak.

The only truly weak series have been the ones with golden state and Cleveland. We just came off of a 7 game series with Boston and Washington, Toronto Milwaukee out West Memphis And houton, all had eenteresting series up to this point. you can't look at the dominance of 2 teams and project that over an entire playoffs.

They gotta change this shit man. It's really fucking up the product. They gotta have more rest in between games.

It feels like a foregone conclusion...and then the teams that could have made it interesting (like the spurs.. lost two starters) and then maybe Houston could have made the leap but Harden turned into Mr. Smedium again.
